Nair,

If you ran a stiff wire around the earth and then it suddenly grew in length by one foot, how far off the earth would the wire be?
If you ran a stiff wire around basketball and then it suddenly grew in length by one foot, how far off the ball would the wire be?
If you ran a stiff wire around golf ball and then it suddenly grew in length by one foot, how far off the ball would the wire be ?

Doesn't matter... the distance between the wire and the earth/basketball/golfball
would be the same...

P.S.: start using the official SI-units... using that US <censored> made billion dollar
expensive mars probes crash into it's surface... ;-)

Yes, I know there is a plethora of European-made spacecraft that were designed and built using SI-units and so many men put into outer space and returned safely on those same space craft. Oh wait, hmmmm, what is taking you so long, oh I see you guys uber'ed on a Soviet spacecraft. An English yard is close to a meter, so we will do killoyards and milliyards. And liter is close to a quart, so we will do milliquarts and megaquarts. Time we already agree on. Oh, and Europe, pick a language..... Drive for 2 hours and you gotta learn a new language over there...... yeah that miles/kilometers thing is soooooo difficult compared to that .... not!
Your little countries are just soooo adorable over there, each one is a day-trip, so convenient.

An airplane was heading due South at 300 miles per hour, it collided with another airplane heading due West at 400 miles per hour. Both were flying at the same altitude.
How far apart were the airplanes exactly 6 minutes prior to impact ?
Where were the survivors buried?

You can ask the survivors themselves where they would like to be buried Bitter..... my guess at a later date

Yes, we uber'ed the russian, designed by Sergei Koroljow, a european.
Meanwhile we're just able to launch satelites and such kind of things,
using different kinds of Ariane rockets.
We didn't make it bringing a man into space and return him save so far,
because we couldn't develop something like a saturn V rocket, designed
by Werner von Braun... ... ... (but i am not that proud of him, as it looks...)

The largest production model of the Saturn family of rockets, the Saturn V was designed under the direction of Wernher von Braun at the Marshall Space Flight Center in Huntsville, Alabama, with Boeing, North American Aviation, Douglas Aircraft Company, and IBM as the lead contractors.

In case you didn't notice, the USA is mostly just a bunch of immigrants, and their offspring.

Your boy did it all in the USA.

He was able to do it all using using our measurements......
You can too!

Korolev was born on Jan. 12, 1907, in Zhytomyr, Ukraine — just a few years after the first airplane flights took place. Many astronauts and spacecraft engineers of the 1950s and 1960s were born around the turn of the century, when spaceflight was often considered an impossible dream.

Korolev didn't waste any time in pursuing his passion for aviation. At 17, he created his first glider, according to the European Space Agency. He was educated at the Kiev Polytechnic Institute and the University of Moscow, where he began working on rocket propulsion (which was still a theoretical subject).

So he did not get smart until he fled Europe (Ukraine) and studied in Moscow. Hmmmm ... I am seeing a pattern here....
Leave Europe and accomplish great things.....

It's too late. you'll never reduce the burning of fossil fuels in the major countries fast enough to stop climate warming. We are doomed to destroy the planet as we know it. The powerful countries (and those who align themselves with them) will survive longer while mass migration destroys economies. No spiritual being (if you believe) will come to save us.

Just enjoy this game we love and the friendships we forge
