... i m gonna try to explane it from my point of view... U should switch... but, in case of ur not dead and for no suicide needed, there is a grace period of 5 kills... Hope the best, that u get killed within this frame of 5 hits u still can go on. If u reach 35 kills u got the choice... - kill urself (or get urself killed by someone else...), change loadout or - getting kicked with kill no 36 using an (semi)auto. The rule says switch at 30. The enforcement is at 36, i.e. any kill made where your score is 36 or higher using a primary weapon that is not a bolt or shotgun will kick you. Kills from non-primary weapons (like pistols and nades) are allowed up to 50, and kicks start at 51. So there is a "grace period" in the range of 30-35 kills. There is no issue for admin since the enforcement is automatic. No admin shall warn/kick you for not having a bolt/shotgun in your hands above 30 kills. Players may complain, but if I see them do this, I explain the 30-35 kill grace period. We do this so a player does not have kill self to avoid kick when 30 approaches. You can overlap the 30 and die in battle (up to 35 safely). Recommend that at any time you respawn and your score is 30+ you pick a bolt/shotgun class. You can push up to the 35 boundary, but be warned sometimes you accidentally go over the 35 hard limit when you get multiple kills with single shot, or you get a nade/betty kill whil shooting. But it is your peril to manage. If you find yourself alive at 35 and have not switched, try to get indoors and use your pistol, or use knives, nades, etc, or pick up a bolt off the ground and use it until death. That is the general guideline.... Depending on your performance, we do make adjustments for specific players. A habitually dominant player may find themselves with a lower switch point, some players have to switch at 30, 25, and even as low as 20 instead of 35. That is on an individual basis and only a handful of regulars are affected. So to summarize: using mostly your words: When i get to 30 kills, do i have to kill my self to switch to bolt or can continue and swith the next time i die? You can continue past 30 and switch the next time you die ...... but do not exceed the hard safe limit of 35 kills. |
