Hello to all clan members! I play a lot on your server, but your member Punishment need to get a glasses. Sometimes he kicks me for no reason. Usually his reason is brush running or using pistol outside. Two days ago I played and changed to pistol on enterence of building and ofc he kicked me. Next map that same clan member entered building with pistol, not after he entered it but before entered it. I said that to him and ofc kick again. I started recording every time I play because of him, so you can get every demo. To Punishment... I know that you do not like me, but that is not reason to kick me. One, you were burst running and hopping around corners today, when warned you smarted off so you got kicked. Yesterday, you got kicked for pulling out your pistol outdoors and when warned you tell me that I did the same thing yesterday, except that was on subpens which is all indoors. When you came back you typed in some crap that got you kicked for 5 minutes. upon seeing that you decided to type in "Asshole" Except with different spelling. THAT SHOULD HAVE GOTTEN YOU A 24 HOUR BAN. I am not the only admin online seeing this. A few of us are always on TeamSpeak. So if you feel like you can break the rules and get away with it constantly, you are wrong. That is all. ------------------

Hello icexqe...... Here is the problem. You are a habitual rule bender. We have a rule that says you need to crouch or walk with sights up. Often times many of our admin (myself included) see you in short bursts moving not in crouch and not with sights up. We call this "burst running". Sometimes a person walking with sights up, can inadvertently burst run if they: - Reload - you are now not ADS, and in fact walking upright unsighted. - Cooking or throwing nade - If your were upright and moving ADS, the nade you throw is a running nade, especially if cooked long Those are "inadvertent" burst runs, and sometimes a player is unaware that they are running. Then there are "deliberate" burst runs.... like running or hopping quickly around a corner, or getting back to battle, etc. I cannot speak to which of the two categories above you are in, or perhaps a mix of the two. I point out the inadvertent cases, to raise awareness, as perhaps that may help explain your case if you feel no wrongdoing on your part. However the fact remains that numerous admin witness it during gameplay, and many act on it, as they should (Cpl Punishment included, myself included). Same goes for pistol use outdoors.... numerous admin see you violating that rule as well. And for the record, Sub Pens and Station(subway) are all indoors and pistols are allowed everywhere on those two maps. I am happy that you are recording yourself, it would be helpful for an admin who wishes to kick you for whatever infraction, to also record what they see. I would like to review their video and your video to see if there is a difference of perspective or confirmation of facts. I am happy to review any video you have of past infractions, if we are in the wrong, we will address it and make corrections, and by the same process if you are in the wrong, we would expect you to make corrections. I have faith in Cpl Punishment's judgement, and if he kicks people there is always a reason. It is possible for him or any admin (myself included) to be fallible or not see all of the context, but Cpl P. has an excellent track record and is usually spot on. You are welcome to come on our TeamSpeak and speak with me, MrMackeyMkay, or Honda if you have a problem with any admin. |

Is it allowed to jump on server? And do you guys know what is strafe in CoD series? Maybe, sometimes while under fire I run and jump, that is because of habit and reaction. If it allowed to jump I am jumping and strafing from stairs, walls, etc. It's not running, but I am being faster. And did you ever heard of cvar g_speed? And have question. Hi icexqe, the only jumping allowed is straight up and down to see or shoot over an object. Jumping is never allowed to avoid fire (bunny hopping) And lateral or forward back movement while jumping is not allowed. You are also allowed to run briefly/jump laterally to get to a spot such as a wide gap up high, like on downfall or revolution maps. "Strafing" while in an upright position is allowed with sights up, strafing while upright with sights down is the same as running and not allowed unless under direct fire or nade. Do you have any other questions or are confident that you understand the rules well enough to keep your game play consistent with the rules of the server, and off the radar-screens of the admin? @code It does not have anything with my cfg. If you are asking for cvar g_speed it is server side cvar for movement speed. Default is 190. Admins can change to half of that value so crouch speed will be speed of normal movement speed. @BitterSpock You are also allowed to run briefly/jump laterally to get to a spot such as a wide gap up high, like on downfall or revolution maps. I am using strafe to jump over high object so I don't have to climb, be slow and can't shoot. Just wondering what weapon to use after 50+ kills, it warned me about bolt? Shooty? You were kicked for 24 hours as a judgement call by the admin on duty, who posted a video of you for suspicion of hacking, which I have reviewed. Based on what I saw, I am convinced that you are not hacking, so I have lifted the 24hour temp ban, so you can play. However, it does show some more "rule bending" by you. When you run out of ammo in your primary weapon, the game switches you to a pistol. When that happens you must FIRST type OOA and announce out of ammo BEFORE using the pistol. If that causes you to die you die. In you case I believe you emptied one or two pistol mags before typing OOA. So I am back to wishing you would cease the rule bending. I don't understand "using strafe to jump", strafe is side to side movement. Strafing upright unsighted is NOT allowed. If you are combining that with jumping that is lateral movement while jumping and NOT allowed. if you can climb on objects then climb, like everybody else please. It may get you killed but it won't get you kicked. As far as what weapon to use after 50+ kills, you may use only a knife. In any event ...... I would like you to proceed with "perfect compliance" as a goal, and also "avoiding questionable behaviors" as a goal. It is your responsibility to follow the rules. Everybody else has the same responsibility. Myself included. I think at this point there should be no ambiguity with what is expected from you. Can we agree on that point? Strafe (CoD4 player) is moving your mouse to a side while jumping so you jump further. Understand, I'll do my best to follow the rules. Sometimes I have huge lags in the morning because of IP change, when I get connection interrupted it is possible to see me running, shooting with pistol, etc. Thats because I can't do nothing with that. Thanks for unban, also have demo of myself on that map that I am baned from. |

No that is not what connection interrupts look like, if you appear to be running or using pistol, it is because you are running and using pistol. Please review my prior statement ..... I would like you to proceed with "perfect compliance" as a goal, and also "avoiding questionable behaviors" as a goal. I am concerned that you have already started with "lag and CI" as a preparatory hand-waving and specious defense for anticipated future non-compliance. Just know that such a defense will be considered unacceptable should improper running and improper pistol use be realized going forward. Again, I would like you to proceed with "perfect compliance" as a goal, and also "avoiding questionable behaviors" as a goal. Please do your best to achieve those goals. Thank you |

I am playing by following the rules and there won't be any problems in the future. Is it necessary to ban player if it has 40+ in 2 maps in row? Funny you should mention that..... Rule 10 ....... you broke YET ANOTHER rule. I was in game when it happened and clearly it shows that you are not holding up your end. Remember the goals: I would like you to proceed with "perfect compliance" as a goal, and also "avoiding questionable behaviors" as a goal. Goal #1 was not met, demonstrating that you are not committed to rules compliance. So normally you get 1 hour off..... I have taken it upon myself to EXTEND it to 48 hours (24 hours for the temp ban I forgave earlier, and another 24 hours for breaking the rule #10 just now). I encourage you to visit outtact.net and read the rules page if you wish to continue to play here. I have taken extra time to try to work with you in this endeavor, but does not seem to be bearing fruit, much to my dismay. If you wish to discuss your situation with me seek me out on TeamSpeak. |

Rules scroll every map.... you see them ...... Rule #10 - All players MUST switch to a 1bolt/shotty at 30+ kills. Score 40+ on 1 in 4 maps max. Never score 50+ Three parts ...... A: Switch to a bolt action rifle or shotgun after 30+ kills..... Enforcement (kick) is after 35 kills so you have to switch with a grace period of 5 kills. B: Score 40+ on 1 in 4 maps. If I look at window of 4 consecutive matches, your score is not to be above 40 on more than 1 of those matches. In your case you have adjacent scores of 47, then you hit 40 on next map and got temp banned by the system. What this means is if you have a really good map, tone it down on the next 3 maps. C: Never score 50+ We don't want people to have dominant scores on our server. There is an allowance that you may use your knife only above 50+ so you don't have to stop playing. This also serves to help you give back to others in that you will likely get killed while sticking with the knife. If you do attempt this, please be aware that you still have to tone it down on the next 3 maps. I remember asking you if there was anything unclear. From my perspective I don't see how you can say " I am playing by following the rules and there won't be any problems in the future." and then say "I don't get those rules on server something 1 of 4 bla bla..." If you read our rules and come away with "bla bla", either you need help understanding (say so), are not trying to understand, or are incapable of understanding. Thanks on everything! I will put a limit on you with STG if you keep using the same gun to dominate and stop the quick sprint to get in position, don't argue! After temp banning you for hours even days you were changed to a perm ban. Post your appeal in the ban appeal place and we will get around to it. |
