Admin who banned you: Also don't know. Home country: Croatia Why you believe you should be unbanned: Want to play... Hello guys. Yesterday I wanted to play but I got massage that I am permanent banned from server. I really don't know why, because when I left my home everything was fine. I moved to other town because of faculty and final exams so I didn't even played for a while. Now everything is done and I finally came home and just want to play. Thanks! |

Hello icexqe, The reason for your perm ban is for habitual rule breaking. We normally only reserve perm bans for hackers and other more egregious crimes. However in your case, your ban was done to facilitate this dialogue that we are engaged in right now. Many admin (myself included) have issued numerous warnings and kicks, kicks with time, etc in an effort to steer you down the path of an upstanding regular. I feel you are good player, and we do not want to have to ban you, but we did not know how else to get your attention. If you wish to play on our server(s) we welcome you to do that, but we require that you adhere to both the letter and the spirit of the rules. So here is what I want you to do...... I want you to read the rules posted on "Rules" link in the left-hand side of this web page. Read the rules and know the rules. Then I want you to make a post in this this thread that states: "I have read and understood the rules, and I agree to follow them at all times" As soon as I see you post your agreement, I will remove your ban an allow you to play under the following conditions. 1. As soon as you enter the game, type "!rules" and read understand the rules #1 through #10. If you are uncertain what any of them means, that is YOUR responsibility to ask questions in game or join our TeamSpeak and consult and admin and clarify anything that is unclear. 2. There must be no reason for any admin or member to issue you a warning or kick going forward. I will review the server logs periodically to ensure that there are no new warnings or kicks. If any are found I will consider you to be in breach of our agreement and your ban will be re-instated. It will be my hope and expectation that this will not happen going forward and you are able to play within the rules and enjoy yourself. Next move is up to you. Could you remove me K/D ratio limit? It's not OK... I have 30 12 and get warnings... but didn't excited server limit. |

Hi icxeqe, I do remember telling you to read the rules on the rules page ...... I want to draw your attention to to the bottom of the rules page .....Server-Killing GUIDELINE Server Killers are not allowed to play on OTaC servers. RATIONALE: OTaC is a non-competitive server. The most valued players are not those who score the highest, but those that enjoy friendly interactions the most. There are players with skill levels that outstrip many players who frequent OTaC. Getting a significantly higher score than the population is acceptable on occasion. If too often, high scores will detract from the friendly nature of the server. The population will decline to a point where the server will be considered dead. Next I want to draw your attention to the top of the page, first line under OTaC Rules: Senior admins reserve the right to protect the server by addressing player behavior that falls within rules but is disruptive to the server. Take a look at your scores: http://24.147.101.172/otac/players/50/17 54875590.png When the KILL-DEATH gets too high or the scores get too high we apply additional restrictions to skilled players You have joined and elite group of regulars who play here, and help us out by playing with a handicap. Considering you were just unbanned, we can't have you scoring 50,39,39,39,50,39,39,39,50.... each map, especially with low deaths, then people think you are a hacker and leave the server. So Please tone down your game play, the limits will help to remind you when to tone it down. and if the limits triggers a kick, the scores do not reset until the match ends. So if you had 31 and 10 and got kicked, when you die, and return the systems still considers you to have 31 and 10 even though your score is 0 and 0, so you need to get yourself killed and suicide does not count. This is to prevent the case of dominating until kicked and returning to dominate again until kicked. Your Kill-Death is yours to manage. It cannot be above 20, 21 = kick. |

To be honest I do not know .... Since I don't see a post about it in our internal section of the forums , I have reverted the ban with the assumption that an admin may have had an old version of the ban file open in the their editor and hit "save" without reloading it first. It happens. Or maybe you were not upholding your end..... don't know. We will see if an admin comes forward. |
