Hi all, I have had my kids ruin my pc BSOD so i had to format it.. Since the format i have installed w@w 5 times and every time it starts it says offline ? I installed cod 4 which works perfectly with no issues.. Fortnight works obviously Windows 10 64 bit.. Any help would be greatly appreciated Thanks ------------------

Yes i have installed all of the updates from 1.0 to 1.7, I just uninstalled the game again and tried it from default settings and yet again it says offline. ------------------

If I remember rightly I think you may need to play on it offline first. |

just a thought. game is no longer supported by punkbuster i had to go into settings and disable it. |

2020-10-06 at 8:43 AM - BitterSpock: Buy it on steam, no hassle. The trouble with that is i may loose my in game name which i have had for years, Also with my ADSLX2 connection steam lags my game running in the background. Selecting single player and disabling punk buster had no affect either, I can only see a issue with either A. my disk Or B windows 10 I will download the iso of the game and give that a go and report back..... Thanks all for the help

I can't help at the moment, but i can tell you, it does work with WIN10 and the DVD Version running here. It did work when installing from scratch. It did work, when i patched it. It did work, when i free'd the game from the special german restrictions (Blood and gore, swastica, etc.) with some special patches. Only thing i have in mind, is there a firewall running at your system (WIN10 and/or a additional one). Do you need to allow the web access. When i started the game, the WIN Firewall came up in the background 1st and i didn't notice the window! If you didn't do already, open your firewall and check for the rights and keep in mind, that single player and online game are different exe-files and need release to the web on their own. As i said, my 5pence... i hop i could help a little... and i hope to see you back in game soon Bert... |

Thanks Bert, I disabled my firewall completely and no change.. I did allow the game access to my network also. I went into the firewall and added w@wMP and gave it full access..Still nothing :( I have bought another copy (Disk) which i will use my original cd key and hope for the best, Just waiting for it in the post, If that dont work i will buy it on steam and hope i don't lag out to much Thanks everyone see you all soon

You dont need Steam running at the background when playing the game! |

All sorted guys.. It was my cd key every time i use it the game crashes ? Think its from multiple profiles over the years or something like that? Anyway I purchased a new copy and bam it worked !! Then i added my original cd key and it showed offline.. Uninstall game..reinstall with new key and it's fine.. Had to change my name tho to Social_Pain but i'm back.. Thanks all for the help ------------------
