Hi all, First off thanks to Will_P00P for helping me get here for the appeal itself. I'm sorry I don't have all the information, as it took me awhile to find this site. Without further ado here's what I can provide Your In-Game Name: NorthSnipes Server you were banned from: 108.61.238.47:28960 (OuT*Tact Tac Crouch Ranked) Your GUID: e468a9ddbb656e47d1d0d5820537a63a (I think) Time/Date of the ban: 1/14/2021 (early morning PST time is as specific as I can get) Reason for ban: I was banned for suspected wall-hacks Admin who banned you: Unfortunately don't know Home country: United States Why you believe you should be unbanned: I've never cheated before, and I had been playing on the server for the week prior to my ban. I know I had a few games over 30 but never over 40 (outside of when one of you guys put on dome knife only lol). I've been playing these older CoD games for many years now, and even used to be a moderator for a CoD4 server. I don't have anything to hide from my gameplay, I'm just playing for fun (and certainly trying my best to win every time). This is really the only active server within 100 ping of me and it was such a bummer to get a ban out of nowhere. Really hope there's something I can do to appeal this process. |

Hello NorthSnipes, Looking at your data: http://66.30.91.48/otac/players/50/19946 00079.png You have one spike of awesomeness at around your 4th to 5th match on our server that is uncharacteristic of the other matches. Statistically this is usually an excellent indicator of someone that is hacking. But I do not have a demo from the admin that banned you to review at this time. So, in the interest of fairness and due process, I will lift your ban and let you play and that will allow me to gather more data. If you are hacking an admin will eventually present a smoking gun demo, or I will see enough awesomeness in the data to uphold the ban, or I will see that you just had one lucky game and your ability to score is not problematic. If you are just a strong player that will be made apparent too. If you have any questions please let me know. You are free to enjoy the server. Your ban is lifted. |

Cheers Bitter, Yes that 4th/5th game was Dome knife only, and on sub-100 ping I certainly had an advantage over a lot of higher ping players. Thanks for clearing my ban, hopefully I don't end up with another ban appeal to make later on. |
