Hi guys, how do you know the other night (I think it was 2 days ago) playing like every day in the last month, on the 5 or 6 map that we played that day, where we were the same players as always. I come across the legend that I had been banned and it takes me out of the game. I thought that maybe I had forgotten to crouch or ran too much to avoid grenades since the game was very intense, but when I kept trying to enter the server I was still banned. I googled the server and got to gametracker, I put a query for them to check what happened and I got no response. then today to go back in to see if something had happened, I found the server page and here I am trying to fix it. If you check my nick, you will see that every day I play for more than 3 or 4 hours on your server, and I never had any problem with any admin, with any person, I was never accused of cheating or camping too much time in the same place, Also if you see my scores you will see that I did not exceed the average of the server since I use semi and bolt rifles, (I do not like machine guns and shotguns). I always tried to follow the rules (although sometimes I have been kicked for being clueless and not reading when it plays bolt action only) Honestly if I broke any rule I apologize, but i still do not understand why I have been banned, and I do not think I have broken any rules, much less I have used inappropriate language. I play from the Steam platform, I have Punk Buster activated, my steam nick is lucascxz and my nick in the game is Sarampion. (I also played with another profile that got deleted, which was called Lucascxz) I hope any admin can unban me to go back at the server to continue playing. In any case, regardless of what you decide, I thank you for the time you have given me and for the hours of fun. |

Hi Sarampion, You were banned for a wall hack. We have a demo of your gameplay. There were a couple of precision shots where no player was visible or audio alerted you to try a statistically likely spot. It also did not appear as you were spamming a statistically likely spot. I am open to the idea that you were having the most amazing luck, but that is not what I inclined to believe based on what I saw objectively. What say you? Hi Bitter, I appreciate your time and the opportunity to let me explain myself. I don't know how a server works because I never set up one. But if you as Leonard Nimoy Spock xD or some other admin can access the data of the map Upheaval where I was banned, you will see that I was killed several times from three specific spots from where the same people was always camping. The locations were the little window of the wagon at the back of the map that I was shooting at from the second floor of the house with the burned roof. the window in the first floor with a small opening of the house with the burned roof that I was shooting at from the attic of the front house, and the house that is alone on the left of the map from the second floor that was from where I was barely killed spawn severals times. If the same people kill you 10 or 15 times in a row from the same place every time, almost always the same 3 people, it is normal in the game to shoot first to make sure you are not killed again from the same spot, even test the contour of the windows to see if a shot hits someone and confirms that they are still there even though they are not killed. They were very obvious anyway and gave themselves away with the flashes of each shot when killing, or by looking and crouching repeatedly from the same spot. Sometimes they even fought for the spot stabbing each other to win the window spot lol. The one who was hiding in the waggon, directly stuck his head out of it like a fairground duck, i kill him 3 times and he return every time after spawn to the same spot. I have been playing on the server for over a month since i buy the game, Sometimes I come out among the first scores, other times (the most) I come out in the middle of the table, and other times I do very badly staying among the last scores. Not all maps are for me (the submarine map it one of the worst form me). But I play an average of 4 hours a day and I was never accused of cheating from anybody, using inappropriate language, or camping to much. I admit that sometimes I have been told not to run, since in the heat of battle I sometimes forget to crouch at the spawn. But as soon as I realize it, I accept my mistake and I apologize. I don't think I deserve to be banned for that, but the decision is up to you and I can only accept whatever you decide. Anyway, here I am. Greetings and good shots. |

You are now unbanned, and let's see if nothing else else happens except we all enjoy playing the game going forward. This is why we have an appeals process.
