Hello Everyone, I'd like some guidance on SubPens. Should players have to switch to bolt or shotgun after 30 kills with a pistol? We know the pistols are terribly OP and without a limit players can rack up disproportionate kill counts. There is not currently a kill limit for pistols. I'm not sure if this is on purpose or if it's a technical limitation since pistols aren't primary weapons. I know that we need to ere on the side of reducing the constraints on play, not adding more rules and barriers. I'd just like to know if this has been discussed and if there was some consensus. My feeling is that we introduce those limits to keep strong players from running up the score and server killing so asking them to switch to bolt or shotgun is warranted. For me, I say no. I am one of the players that has limits and has had limits for a long time. I use that map to let loose and if you start restricting pistols in my eyes, you are putting too many restrictions. |

I was for the same but, the reason that this maps counts as indoor and pistol allowed indoors and under same roof as target its allowed, because you are allowed to use pistol when you are over 30 and indoor, both rules are wierd, with 1 rule you will reduce the ability to get over score and the other rule were you can use the most Powerful weapon indoor and under same roof as target, you can fire like hell with it insteed of a Bolt are nuts, something needs to change on these rules ,or let it run like it is and take it as fun map. |

In the past I have asked people using pistol to change to bolt or shotgun on this map at 30 kills. As they were dominating the game. Most comply with the request but I don't see why you cannot kick people who don't. |

Subpens, station, and most (but not all) of dome, are indoors. People can use the pistol. There are always going to be dominant players. Statistically dominant player dynamically earn tougher limits automatically now. We do not need any further adjustments. The easiest way to keep players from dominating is to kill them more than they kill you. So if they are dominating with a pistol, like somehow the pistol has a special property which makes the player invincible or lethal, then to combat that YOU should also use a pistol.
