Hello guys, tonight taking a coffee break, I switched to spectator to enjoy how the shots did not hit me. A new player entered the server and when I saw him running I told him to stop doing it (run the entire map always). One person asked what to do as he kept running and I told him how to start a vote to kick out him. The result was not what was expected, since the person made a mistake and selected me for the vote and I ended up kicked hahaha. When I try to login the server tells me "you are temporarily banned from this server" I would like you to remove this restriction to be able to enter, since it was by mistake and you can even see that I had not played any round of the map (only spect mode). The map was Revolution 10 minutes ago. Thanks and sorry for the inconvenience. |

But after the kick, when i try to in again to the server say, a legend appear which say: "You are temporarily banned" and don't let me in for a half and our o more (i don't know how much time has passed). I think that the kick goes with a temp bann. |

Well in that case it may help to take a look into the logfiles, which is something only a selected no of members are able to do. Usualy bitter does, when he is online in the forums next time. Let's wait and see... |

A kick by a Vote call in Game is only a kick and no Time Ban, a Time Ban is longer when gets autokicked by the bot for saying bad words, getting over 40 kills in more then 2 matches, maybe you used some of this bad words, language dosent matters, and get a 20 min kick ,some words are Time Ban Kicks for a good reason, we do not allow to swear in Global Chat, Text or voice Chat, because Players from young playing here too sometimes or Kids from our Members and other players, we want a Family Friendly Server everyone can enjoy. |

Well comrade-in-war, I don't know what else I can tell you since it happened exactly as I explained. Too bad there was no one from the clan to see it, but if you want, we can do a test in the game, you enter with an account that does not have admin privileges and we do a vote kick, and then you try to enter again and see if you are banned or not . Or you can look at the server log to confirm or rectify what I say. I was kicked by the system a map or two before, for going over 30kills without changing weapons, but can instantly re-enter as normal and continue playing bolt action. It does not matter anyway, it is a problem that turned out to be a funny anecdote hahaha. However, there is one aspect that I want to make clear since it refers to me, and it is about the possible use of bad words. Obviously I did not use bad words, since there would have been no voting since the system would have automatically kicked and banned me, even for the number of hours a day I play (I am a bit embarrassed to say it, but my STEAM marks 100 hours played in the last two weeks and I only play this game and only on this server), where we are almost always the same players, you can ask anyone and most of them know my nickname and they will confirm that I am not a conflictive or insulting person. and if you look at my logs you will see that I never had an argument or insulted someone. Only the console has warned me a few times in recent months, when I say that I have lag, The server takes "lag" as a bad word (LAG caused by my bad connection) and I do not understand why it is a bad word. So to avoid that I write Lagg or high latency. But he never kicked me for writing that, he just gave me as a warning. Beyond all, contrary to getting angry I laughed a lot at what happened, since it was a funny mistake and when I saw that i was going to be kicked I could only write "not me" and out. It was fixed in just minutes, even when I was able to get back in, the guys and I laughed a lot about what happened. Some even apologized to me for voting without looking at who they kicked, in the confusion of the game they thought it was the vote for the subject who ran constantly, and without looking for who they are voting, they pressed F1 voting for me. If I had known it was half an hour or an hour of bann time, I wouldn't waste time bothering you with this post. I thought maybe it was a bann of 24 hours or more. I send greetings to all of you OTAC members, and I take the opportunity to say that I am grateful for the server and the good vibes. vote kicks have a default time associated with them that we have no control over it expires when it expires. just know that it is not permanent. If there was no time then problem players could come right back defeating the purpose of a vote kick. |
