Adding to what you has already mentioned, you were constantly taking our your pistol long before being inside a building and doing some hops when crouching. I let this slide quite a bit, but when I asked nicely if you could do not this, you would say you were inside, at one stage you walked past me with it out. I kept repeating at times as you obviously had no intention of doing this. This was over almost 2 maps. Also you shot someone clearly outside with a pistol in the Battery map when I was behind you. Again when I pulled up up on this, you clearly denied this, although he was approaching the doorway and we were only a few meters away. How about emptying your mag completely within seconds when you were outside, then getting your pistol out to shoot people in the Vodka map? They weren't too impressed. I wasn't trying to pick on you, you brought this up yourself with your flippant attitude and disregard for players and the rules. If you had tried to make an effort and kept your remarks to yourself, that would have been fine. I enjoy helping out new players when they are getting used to out server as they are not used to crouching style, but you just couldn't take direction and it seemed you were testing to see how far you could push things. Jimmy, we are not your parents so admonishing you for poor behavior (regardless of the reason) isn't our job. Our job is to ensure that the server runs smoothly, that those who wish to be aggravating and cause issues are dealt with in a manner that is in keeping with our rules. We have various rules for specific reasons and we try to be fair to everyone equally and during your game play you might get a warning for breaking a rule. A warning isn't an invitation for you to argue with admin, it is to get your attention about a specific issue and as soon as you begin to argue with admin you make an issue where there was none and to be honest the admin have to deal with poor behavior by removing you. Repeatedly removing you, or banning you for abusive or nasty language puts you on our radar and not a single one of us wants to come into a game and have to babysit those who should know better. In a nutshell, change your behavior and you'll have no problems. It is as simple as that. |

Yesterday afternoon (Australian Eastern Standard time) Jimmydean69 was playing on the OTaC WAW server. We were playing the Airfield map. He shot me with his pistol - he was inside the tunnel and I was outside. I warned him for breaking the pistol rule then displayed the pistol rule. He then began to get lippy in global text, claiming he was inside under the roof, I displayed the pistol rule again and explained that both the shooter and target have to be under the same roof and asked him if he got it now. A short time later I ran from a nade and he started on me about sprinting. Then he typed "kill an admin on this server and get kicked" , which inferred that I had kicked him for killing me. I stated that he had not been kicked at all but had been warned, but that if he kept it up he would be kicked. Some time later two other players complained about his pistol use outside (I believe one of them was mista) So I again warned him and displayed the pistol rule. He continued typing smart alex comments so I have designated him a troll with 5 texts per game limit. |

Thanks Bitter. Perhaps nobody unbanned him - perhaps when changing to the new server the bans did not carry over from the old one???? Anyway he should not be a problem any more. Thanks again. Regards Humber. |

Hmmm, yes I have cleared all the old bans on purpose, starting with a blank ban.txt on the new server. But I was under the impression that this ban was done on the new server. But you could be and probably are astutely correct.... In any case, the desired outcome is now the present reality. |

Hey Bitter, maybe when you were working on the bot to change the restrictions the config file was over-written that had his ban in it and it got removed. Either way, he has been re-banned so not a problem. |

"I say the ban stays, i am happy to let any admin give him a 3rd chance, but i am good with the reban" nair0F gave me another chance, and you reban over an accidental pistol kill. i cant even comment about the supposed trash talk, i caught him sprinting and said something, if that offended him thats his problem. for like the 1 1/2 games i played i though i was doing pretty fuckin good. holy fuck if i would of started recording matches i wouldnt be in this shit. you guys have no chill, a fuckin witch hunt bro lol. idk if its because of my name, where im from but yall assholes for coming at me like this. a brother tryna have a good match and im constantly being warned for shit i aint do. its like i aint tryna deal with this shit ingame to, bullshit ass boss tryna fuck me over at work, fuck that guy. |
