Just a few moments ago, 12:20 CT USA - he told a player to get the hell out of here, simply because he doesn't like this other players game play. I can recall personal attacks on myself and again see his behavior on others who may just be on the server for the 1st time. LEGI was in game also during this incident. thanks for reading. Mike T |

Please be aware there are a number of Biters that play on our server make sure you have the right one. This is just to make sure that people dont jump to conclusions if they see Biter in the name. ------------------ May Your Aim Be True And Your Bullets Deadly

He has been dealt with a few times in the past and has even been temped ban for it. the_biter is fully aware he's kind of on his last warning for it from me anyways before he gets 48 hrs or more of a timeout. If he is back to his old ways you need to screenshot it or record it and let an admin know. ------------------

the_biter is allways doing that all the time i tell this player to stop. he dont listen so i kick him out without time. |

I've seen some rather rude behavior from this "gent", he knows the rules, knows our policy for respect of other players. I've reaqd him the riot act a few times, if he's getting kicked he likely deserves it. |

For the record, I have played with the biter many times over the years. I guess I have never witnessed any issues, never a warning from me or any other person present, never a complaint from any other player about his behavior during many many hours of gameplay. So I am still scratching by head on this one. Maybe I just bring out the best in him ...  Or maybe you all just bring out the worst in him..... |

Quite frankly..... sometimes he's a dickhead. Hes mostly harmless in my opinion. Usually we just tell him to be quiet and he complies for a while. Sometimes we end up putting a troll on him though its pretty rare. Im sure if he would join us on TS he could vent a little better in a safer place. As I understand it hes hearing impaired to some degree so TS is more or less useless to him. |

I don't believe the_biter really means any of it; most of it stems from when he sees that teammates don't listen to the "advice" he gives in team chat, which I've been on the end of a couple of times . He gets annoyed and lashes out, but personally, I brush it off and then joke about it to him. But just because I can take it (probably from the nurse's experience) doesn't mean all will. I think the_biter should commit to changing as he said he would. I just wanted to add my experience with the_biter for the record. ------------------

At some point in your life you encounter people who are rude, abrasive, offensive, obnoxious If you let that bother you, put you in a bad mood, get you upset, etc.... you are simply giving that rude, abrasive, offensive, obnoxious person power over you, since you are now talking about that person, reacting to that person, getting angry about that person, soliciting others to join you in your outrage. There was a comedian that mentioned very astutely - when you're offended ... NOTHING HAPPENS ! You are not physically harmed, or financially harmed, etc... When did "Sticks and stones will break my bones .... " stop being relevent? Being offended is a choice that you make, that you control .... It is like being tickled. You cannot tickle yourself. So why is it possible for others to tickle you and make you laugh. My point is it all within your control to NOT be tickled, offended, angered, etc . I acknowledge that certain people have good and bad traits, so when they display them, I expect it, and it does not bother me. I just ignore toxic people. As a result I am happy nearly all of the time. This is just a game. "the_biter" took the time to apologize. If it is sincere, great. If not, so what, it does not stop me playing the game and enjoying it. If his rudeness puts you in a bad mood that is on you. If his rudeness empties the server, that is on those leaving. Why are you all giving him this much power ? If he was being racist, etc ... that is easier to deal with ... poof he's gone! Absent that, NOTHING HAPPENS! Be happy. Here is an example, the time all of us have spent reading and responding to this essentially meaningless post has taken away valuable free time which we could have spent having fun, like trying to see if you can actually tickle yourself. I have played many games and never noticed the_biter being rude, but hey maybe I am not looking for things to be wrong and pointing them out ... that job I will leave to my ex-wife. So, if I am reading this correctly, it is ok to be a rude, obnoxious jerk on the server. If the server empties because one person is being that type of jerk it is on the people who leave the server, not the player? That makes zero sense. If someone has cancer you attempt to remove the tumor(s), not blame the person for wanting to get rid of the cancer. I'm like Bird and have been the target of some of the_biter's diatribes at times. I mostly let it roll off my back, but I will tell him he needs to shut his mouth. However, other people may not want to hear it and leave. Therefore the server suffers. Seems like an easy fix is to boot the person causing the problem rather than letting a server empty out because of one person. |

If specific people are targeted by a rude person ..... ask yourself why that might be the case? |
