I play in your server as SgtFisher44 Today the_biter was annoyed by my play style and so he started to lie about me in chat, claiming that I was camping enemy spawn. I was not. Based on this claim, and without any attempt to verify, OTaC Angus warned me for spawn camping. Other admins on at the time verified that I was not spawn camping and ended up designating the_biter as a troll to stop him from making false claims about me. A few maps later another player falsely claimed that I was camping again (I was not I was playing on the move at the time) and OTaC Angus kicked me from the server, again without making any attempt to verify. I rejoined the server and told Angus that he should not be Admining on the baseless claims of butthurt players and he immediately set me as a troll. Lust for power and a fragile ego are not ideal characteristics for a server admin. Sadly, Angus seems to have both in abundance. It's not a good recipe for a fun server. Earlier in the day I did kick for camping, once. I haven't kicked after that. On that map, hanger it was for camping. My kick had nothing to do with biter. |

The first incident was a warn on upheaval before the kick based on the_biter's chat. I never said you kicked me more than once. But it establishes a pattern of behavior. You seem to have a tendancy to admin with a heavy hand without verifying the claims being made. I was not camping at all in Hangar when you kicked me, but you wouldn't know because you didn't even attempt to verify at all. |

I'm not going to argue symantics. I kicked for camping the window on hanger, you say you weren't . I didn't kick for time. you came right back. I don't use admin lightly. So lets do this. I'll try to do better if you will. |

I didn't come here to argue with you at all. I came to report your behavior. Since I was playing by the rules I don't see how I can "do better" but it's nice that you are willing to admit that you could do better than you have been. At least we can agree on that. |

There is no kill streak longer that 5 kills in this match and I see from the rate that there is no way SgtFisher44 was alive for a 3+ minute stretch anywhere in the match either. The only spawn kill was the his very first (K) kill in the game. I think that Angus maybe did not notice that SgtFisher44 died and returned, but that means that camping protocol was not followed. Please understand that a kick with no time while annoying, disrupts your gameplay for literally 60 seconds at most. So admin are imperfect, players are imperfect, we can choose to not stress about the small stuff and enjoy the game. Yes, Angus got this wrong in this instance, but Angus for the most part does a good job adminning and I see he as already posted "So lets do this. I'll try to do better if you will." which I think is an excellent plan! |
