Hi Bitter, Have had a inquiry by some Aussies with bad connection's to if the max server ping can be increase from 300 to say 350. A few are not on fibre and often have a ping around 300 or a bit more and have trouble joining. Cheers ANZ |

Ping compensation over-corrects - we already have a huge disadvantage to people with 150ms -250ms pings who have overly favorable ping compensation. I don't want to play with 400ms ping players. will be too laggy for all involved when they are on. Having said that I can try adding 50ms to the max ping at your request and we can see if it becomes an issue for the rest of us. If it does not we can leave it, if it does I will want to revert back to the status quo. |

It's funny how people can have different perspectives. Having no knowledge at all about in-game ping compensation, which, if it exists, one would think averages out, for want of a bettter description, the pings of BOTH low and high ping players, it is my experience that my ping of 217 to 244 places me at a significant disadvantage when confronted by a player with a ping of between 30 to 180. Sometimes, with those players with a ping of around 30, they have killed me before they even appear on my screen. |
