Hey Otac! Been away for a week - logged in to play for WaW and for at least an hour I get "Can not connect to Online Service" Online service error. I'm connected - internet is fine... but it looks like all the CoD servers I try to go to (Black Ops 1. CoD 4. WaW) are all unable to connect. Anyone else out there having issues? |

Haven't been playing for a few days myself - so don't know if I have that problem Will try to login shortly. |

i had that happen couple of weeks ago it something to do with the online profile |

Sounds like the Cod Online (Maybe Authentication?) servers had a downtime ------------------

It appeared it as CoD down across the board around noon GMT -04:00. Down detector showed the spike. I got back on a little bit later - but it did not recognize that I had profiles built and asked me to create one. I did - and it crashed the game. I waited a bit - rebooted - deleted the new player folder and replaced the existing ones with backups from a few months ago. All good after I reset all my graphics. I mean - the game is ancient... I am surprised the servers still work at all at keeping up online profiles from a 17 year old game. |

As long as the server companies refresh (reload) the game periodically we shouldn't have too many issues. I lost my Voodoo profile a few weeks ago, reset it and within 3 days lost it again so i'm using Bubba Yagga for a while. The lost profile is my own stupid fault, lost the back up that I had. The game is certainly getting long in the tooth, and I'm amazed that we are still getting new players who really enjoy the game. That's why we love it

The server just crashed, the OutTact one. Not the online services. ------------------
