( Running / Using scope / Bad language / Suspected hacking / etc.) Admin who banned you: ( This helps us to quickly find out why you were kicked / Banned ) One of the females that were in the game. Home country: United States Why you believe you should be unbanned: After arguing about the rules with the "co-leader" that I wasn't breaking them, but was doing a new innovative tactic that I was prepared to fight for because it wasn't in the rules, which was me crouching and un-crouching quickly only making the crouch sound and no footsteps, over all making a quicker movement. That was resolved in a mutual agreement that I was correct in the situation and not breaking the rules, it was fine. But after a while the female "co-leader" was on edge because of another player, and I have video footage of this situation, I asked what the two representatives age was. One replied in chat asking why and I replied because one of them sounded very young and I was inferring that she was in high school. She thought I was making fun at her, which I was seriously asking the question in calm tone at the time of typing that message. Not two minutes later the one female in voice chat said that I was being banned, kicking me from the game and me in return joining back in confusion why. Then BAN! |

OG, I was the admin who banned you. I was asked by the owner to do so. I entered after hearing the report that you were trying to argue for the right to move in crouch, lifting into standing position and rapidly back to crouch. There would be no problem if you kept your sights raised the entire time. As you admit there was a noise being made when you did this. You call this noise a "crouch sound". You also recognize this causes a quicker movement. These admissions indicate that you were NOT following our Rule1 Movement: Please move in crouch or walk with sights up, no footstep noise. There is NO noise associated with the action, crouch. Any such noise is a footstep noise. If you kept your sights raised while cycling through your crouch and walking oscillation you would experience neither noise nor acceleration. What you were doing was not innovative, it was non-compliant. I spent a lot of time trying to get you to stop doing it. You finally stopped. The female admin was, as you put it, "on edge", because she asked you to stop doing what you were doing, and you refused to comply. Any admin who is ignored enough times or told they don't know what they are seeing will reach a state of being "on edge". I think you will notice you were not being kicked. The admin was trying to be patient with you. I am discouraged you did not recognize this. The age of our admin does not indicate how much cooperation we expect you to give our admin. Nor does it justify any level of rudeness. When you ask such a question (and infer you believe they are in high school), you should not be surprised when it is assumed you are trying to diminish the person's judgment or the validity of their requests. This is rude. After observing my attempts at trying to work with you and explain our position, the owner of the server decided he had seen enough. He asked me to ban you. I did so. I suggested a short cool-off time might be appropriate for you. Upon reading your explanation and self-justification, it seems like you may repeat your non-compliance. I had just removed your name from the ban list before i saw this appeal from you. Perhaps it is against my better judgement but I will not re-ban you. I will ask you to comply with our admins. Do not be disrespectful to anyone. If you feel you are ever treated unfairly, please come in to our TS or comment in this forum. We will try to address the issue. Thanks for un-banning me, but I was not asking for the admins age see if I should comply or not, I asked because she question the lack of my knowledge of this situation in a rude tone. That was that, but anyways I expect to be watched during play and also expect to walk on thin ice about this situation but next time please completely explain the reasoning of the ban for the recipient to understand the full potential of the situation which seems to be a common thing through out these ban appeals. |
