This is what I have been up to this week, had to wait for the weather to get better so I could paint this thing. If its too cold, I can't do it. Its a 1965 GTO, I rebuilt it from a rusted bare shell that I bought back in 07, had to repaint it thanks to a roof collapse due to snow weight winter before last. Lots of hours in this thing, and I plan to drive it everywhere this summer. I do this to keep busy and feel like I am accomplishing something. The original color was a dark red, but I have lots of red cars and wanted another blue one. Besides, this color rocks. Its a 2012 era Ford color that I see on trucks all over up here. I shot the color on it yesterday, and pushed it outside to bake in the sun a bit today. If you want to see how extensive the build was, I have over 500 pics to share of the build, this thing was VERY rusty, and to be honest, it wasn't even a good parts car.

I like the color too, much better than the yellow it was, and the original red is too cliche.  This is the photobucket slide show. I do this for fun, having a business doing it would no longer be fun. I am the same way in real life that I am on TS, so it should be obvious I am not a stellar customer service representative. |
