The way the CoD franchise has changed into modern warfare and wont be long till it features in space, I thought it would be neat if they revisited WW2 again with the modern game engines. In saying that, I came across on the net, that the Battlefield series next installment is to be set in WW1 and looks really good. The more "mature" players will probably enjoy more, wonder if CoD will do the same.... Battlefield 1 Official Gameplay Trailer -2 mins https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4pY3hlQEOc0 |

Battlefield 1 definitely looks like an interesting reboot of WW1 era multiplayer gaming, but I'm not holding my breath until it comes out simply because of the way AAA games have been going in recent years. If they do an impeccable job, similar to that of CoD1/2 and Medal of Honor gameplay and online multiplayer, they might just have the right formula to make Battlefield 1 an amazing game. They even have horses in it! Word on the street is you'll have to buy horse credits with an in-app purchase... $5 per horse. ------------------ Server IP ____________________________ (108.61.109.21:28960) T eamSpeak IP __________________________ (108.61.238.82:9129) |

Well, I hope it is more realistic than COD WaW. I want to spend hours sitting in a trench under bombardment, then spring out across an open field under murderous gun fire while my team and I get mowed down, and then do it again. ------------------ Something Really Witty!!! Seems like a bit of a mix of new ww2("cool" bayonets/melee, horses?!), Bad Company 2, and maybe some things from Battlefront. I feel like the Planes will control poorly again though * shakes fist *. Dice is great with vehicles. Wonder what the horses will control like... |

Well, now that there is more and more gameplay out for it... it seems to play like all the other Battlefields. But damn.... does it look good! I've seen a few topics about the SMG's and such where they shouldn't be in the game because they were "unreliable" back then and most were prototypes. I'm not sure how I feel about them being in BF1. Any thoughts? |
