Recorded an entire game of my screen and my mouse, so you can be sure I'm not using any cheats or scroll shooting, because some people still think I am not legit even after I posted the video of me rapid firing the M1A1. So here is that full video of me dropping 50 kills and you can see literally everything that I do. The chat is hidden by the camera feed, but both MrTee and GHOST786 are telling me to turn off my scroll shooting. Well, I was thinking ahead of both of you and recorded the entire game on my phone so you can see my finger firing with the left mouse button and never spamming the scroll wheel. So your concerns can finally be laid to rest. |

look. pretend I am not an admin and just a random player. a random player that every time he gets in a gun fight with you has a face full of lead before he gets 2 shots out. as far as I care (if i am that random player) you are a hacker. or as close to it as one can be. No difference. Same happens with a very very good player (which I think is your case too). We as admins want a server full of players not a server with 2 or 3 slayers that make others leave. Where I am going with this is if that you want the admins off of your back, slow down, grab a slower firing gun, do not shoot abnormally fast, blend in. Davide you always speak my heart and agree with you 1000%. that's why I have posted in one of the forum , slow down when dominate too much when you kill so hard. players have 2 thoughts in their mind, "hackers! i'm out or this guys way too good for me I'm out." and it's so truth before I even fire 2 shots, He already empty his guns and just so you know I do ban players too good for our players just to keep others happy to stay. Hi Astro, Thanks very much for recording and sharing this video. Although Davide's comments may not have been worded well (English is not his native language), he is generally letting you know to proactively slow yourself down. That is what we would recommend you do on your own accord. You are probably already in the steepest restrictions class, but if not, switch to a bolt early in the map. One small issue is you started using your pistol at 30 kills. This is not allowed. The proper action is to switch to bolt before this happens, kill yourself or give up a kill and switch class or pick up a bolt. In all cases only use a pistol inside or if you have already run out of ammo and declared that in chat. (BTW.... just emptying your remaining ammo is not an acceptable method of switching to pistol). From my perspective, you are a phenomenal player with a very accurate and fast first shot allowing you to get kills much more easily than your peers. You are also highly mobile and push through the enemy quickly and find yourself in situations where you are coming at the enemy from the side or rear. This gives you an opportunity to maximize your killing potential. None of those things are bad things at all. There are many players on the server that speak/chat loudly antagonizing other players. I do not feel you are one of these, but you have had others target you. We have added a lot of admins in the last year, and not all have a great bedside manner or knowledgeable on our preferred procedures. In general, if the user doesn't have OTaC as their clan tag, you can ignore them. Keep in mind though, that some admins may come in without tags, even the server owner, and other founders. You may ask them if they are admins or not. Admins are required to be in Teamspeak while admining, so if you ever have a question, I encourage you to join TS and ask directly. |

Thanks for the responses and for seemingly watching the entirety of the video. I still firmly believe this 'server killer' idea is just an unproven hypothesis. Killing caps is not something I've seen in any other dedicated server in Call of Duty, Battlefield, Counterstrike, etc. over a decade of online PC gaming. I understand banning certain perks/guns/attachments, since they can be overpowered, but the rule essentially is telling people to 'be average'. Reminds me of the libs who want everyone to get a trophy just for participating, not for winning. And if I am still putting out the scores I do, but with a bolt action, am I going to get handicapped even more? No zooming in on bolts? Proning only to move around the map? 20 kills max? 10? Like I told Honda, I follow all the rules that everyone else does, the ones that spam in the server. Hindering the better players (I am well aware I am not the only one) like this is a slippery slope. As I've shown, I do not use any kind of cheats or scripts and I have been recording demos of all my games just in case (although I'd hope any person who accuses me of something would have their own evidence to back up their claim). 2018-08-22 at 6:52 AM - Davide30541: look. pretend I am not an admin and just a random player. a random player that every time he gets in a gun fight with you has a face full of lead before he gets 2 shots out. as far as I care (if i am that random player) you are a hacker. or as close to it as one can be. No difference. Same happens with a very very good player (which I think is your case too). With respect, this doesn't make sense. If someone thinks a player is hacking, they can A) ask an admin to spectate a suspicious player, B) go to spectator and watch if the player is actually illegitimate, and if so C) record evidence of the cheater and post it on the forums for the admins to review and take further action. From what I've seen over the past few months, the server is commonly filled with regulars who understand the server is well administered by many members that keep it clean of rule breakers and cheaters. The few random players that enter the server are shown this when they join because they can see the rules being constantly spammed and can see players being warned for rule breaking, so they can tell the server is well kept. Random players who join, but do not follow the rules aren't players you'd want to keep in the server anyway. As I suggested in another thread, where I brought up removing or increasing the kill limit, I believe if you tried it out for a few days to a week, you wouldn't notice any difference in player count. As much as some think I shouldn't be in the server, I'd just like to show you a bust video I made of a CoD4 Clan Owner who cheated in his own server. I am a clean player who wants a fair server for all players, so much so, that I spent months saving footage, editing, and producing a 7 minute video proving that this guy cheated in his own server. You can see the horrible things he said about me in the video and also comments on the video from 'AmrknPskyo'. I'd endure that again just to remove unfair players from a server. |

Yes, I did watch the whole thing and to save others from the need to do so, it shows no evidence of hacking. We have had the server killing rules for a long time. It does have a purpose and to some extent helps keep the server going. Mediocre players keep coming back as they do not feel dominated 100% of the time. There are fewer and fewer servers left for CODWaW. I wouldn't be surprised if Activision just yanks the plug on the Master Servers any day. Until then, try to enjoy it while it lasts. Treat the restrictions like a golfer's handicap. These are only placed on the best players to even the playing field. Even if it is just a little. It may be frustrating for you and those others that are limited. I understand that. |

Davide, you rock buddy, that was spot-on.... imProteus, I want to direct your attention to our rules page: http://outtact.net/index.php?mod=static&action=view&id=4 I especially want to direct your attention to the very top where it reads: OTaC - Rules Senior admins reserve the right to protect the server by addressing player behavior that falls within rules but is disruptive to the server. Now Davide is a Senior Admin and he has asked you to tone it down. GHOST is a senior admin and he has asked you to tone it down. I am also a senior admin and I am asking you to tone it down. We want you to enjoy the server, but we want others to as well. Please tone it down as we (many senior admin) have asked. |
