Here is a simple way to really boost the color palette as well the lighting effect and particle effects in the game! Thought I'd share it with everyone here. You simply extract the rar to the games main directory. And for the effects to work you have to disable Anti Aliasing in game and then re-enable it in your graphics control panel. In game you can toggle the effects on/off by pressing Scroll Lock Here are some Nvidia Control Panel settings that result in maximum level of detail for the game. You can disregard super sampling because it issues with the grass in the game and the fps of which the grass is rendered.       Screenshots really don't do it justice, have to check it out in game! Really takes the dull and drab look to new levels. Edit-3-7-2020 For those of you using Windows 10 you will have to rename dxgi.dll to dxgi.bak as well as dxgi.fx to dxgi.bak or just delete them. The dxgi files are DX11 handlers and since this game isn't DX11 you don't need them and they'll just cause errors when running in Windows 10. I was using this in Windows 7 but now I upgraded my OS to Windows 10 Pro 64bit and had to do this in order to get it working. 2019-05-05 at 11:17 AM - BluePhoenix: nice, when I play in Windows mode, it is so washed out. Sweet! Glad it helps. You can also customize it pretty easily by editing the SweetFX_Settings.txt file. There are fairly detailed descriptions to what each value does.
