Hi All, I was wondering what's the process of becoming an admin and getting bot permissions? Its not the first time I play since I got my tags and I'm been asked by users to admin the server and warn rule breakers when there aren't any other admin around or on TS. Part of my joining the clan was to help admin the server and make it less hectic at times like this. Its 5:24pm EST and there's no admins online or on TS and there's plenty of rule breakers. Yeah that's super strange. Honda and Bolt both tried again earlier today to sponsor me but he bot won't recognize my commands. I guess i'm waiting on BitterSpock

Are you not an Member at First, or did you get upgradet to Admin right away? Your Tag is OTmC at First as a Member and Admins have OTaC as Tag,as member you can only warn ppl but can not Kick or ban ppl. |

I was sponsored to a temporary admin by Honda, BluePhoenix and Bolt to be able to give warnings as a member, but the bot won't respond to my commands. When I type '!wr <nick>' or '!info <nick>' nothing happens and I'm not sure why. I was told that BitterSpock would know how to fix it but he's nowhere to be found. I PM him a few days ago but no response yet...

Ok thank you for the explanation, now i Unterstand, yes if there is any trouble with the Bot, Bitter is your Man for this Problems, but maybe the Bot was disabled At the Time you tried to admin, sometimes the Bot reconnect or Bitter has Power Problem at Home, but normaly when the Bot dont work, Bitter create something that the bot restart itself in couple of Minutes, but if the Bot didnt work After 60 min or something, come to Our OTaC Telegramm Channel , there you can get Help faster as on Forums, maybe someone of the US Guys here can invite you and explain to you how it works and can give you excess for Telegramm Messenger via PM here on the Forum. Regards Florian Thank you for your concern but I've got all the right people already looking into it. The Bot works fine. I've spent over an hour talking to Honda about it on TS, and already PM bitter about it as well. I'm sure he'll take care of it when he see's it. |

Problem solved. I changed my tags from OTaC to OTmC and it works

OTaC and OTmC are needed to enable bot commands (unless you are sponsored or listed as a guest admin) No tags = no power Last edit by BitterSpock at 2019-05-20 at 8:41 PM (1x Edited) |
