Hi, I am Bolso

I play a lot on your server, I appreciate your ruleset and players and I am glad this even exists.

Here is the reason I am here, as we know on COD WAW usually there is a lot of camping, the current rule states that one must move once 3 min have past OR 5 kills were made from a single spot, but in a generally 15-20 minutes this means a camper has to move for at most 4 times in a whole game. This becomes even worse on maps that prioritize long-range shooting such as Cliffside.

What if the rule was adjusted for 1 minute Or 2-3 kills, or something stricter than the current set.

I believe this could lead to a more dynamic play where more team members are involved in pushing the spawn.

I am glad you guys even have a suggestion "box".

Hi Bolso,

Camping is part and parcel of FPS games, it simply cannot be stopped. To reduce the time already allowed would only create more work for the admin and create more camping issues. We would be warning someone constantly. Campers can be removed by a well placed nade, smoke and move tactics, getting behind them etc.
The issue of players being a spawn anchor and consistent running causes more disruption and seems to me to be the greater concern.

Especially on seaside, my resolution for the waterfall campers is change it to shotguns or knifes only.
I personally got no issues with campers but with spawn blockers oh yes. hence my above comment.

I understand your frustration with campers. I'm a pusher and I hating staying at one point for more than 5 secs.
But the point of the tactical crouch server and all this slow movement is to give you time and let you think a good tactic in order to sort all obstacles (and if luck is on your side, flip the spawn by your own)
I'd say that 95% of times that I double-triple die because of somebody is camping, is because I choose the same path always and always. You become too predictable, you die more often and you rage much more.
Just need to do a little change to break that cycle, like waiting 10 seconds and going in other direction.
Decreasing the time or kills will give admins a heavier load because more people will complain. More sad people = less population in the server

Maybe a rule like "going back to same spot after you died is considered as camping / spawn anchor" might be a possibility.

Also what is see is that regular players break the rules i would suggest an instant kick (for burst running or camp violation) instead of (multiple) warnings.
Regulars know the rules well enough and as for the camping some players even use a timer (good i`m not an admin on violation i would ban them for a day )

Shotguns is never a solution

Might ppl even consider camping so they get a shotgun round

The limited camping rule exists to provide a balance between players that enjoy camping and players that don't. We want to appeal to both types of players. It is a matter of preference.. The term camping is not considered a pejorative on our servers. Personally I have no issue with people that don't move. You do not have to feed them, and you know where they are so you can eradicate them. If you have difficulty doing so, change your tactics. Maps that have camping issues are solved by admin that pick rulesets that promote movement, like domination, and shotgun, or pistols. The game is imperfect. The rules are imperfect. The players are imperfect. The admin are imperfect. I am imperfect. My response to the this thread is imperfect. But I enjoy the game nonetheless.
