Hi. I started a Free-For-All server recently on WaW and plan to open several more in other CoDs(I *hope* to have a CoD4 FFA server up in a couple hours...). Currently I use CoD Rcon 11.2 beta for rcon stuff. To my knowledge, version 11.3.1 was the last one and I was wondering if anyone has it(or a later version, if one exsits...) if they would be willing to upload it for me(or anyone else who drops by...) to a site like mediafire, zippyshare, etc. I have searched far and wide across the net but cannot find a working download link for it, only 11.2 and older versions. BTW, this morning I was having one last match before I left for work on the OtaC server and noticed the Rcon 11.3.1 dialog pop up in the game chat. When I asked about it, a very generous OtaC member named Voodoo offered to help me get it by giving me a d/l link for in the game chat. I snagged a screenshot of the link, but he must've typed the link wrong because it leads to a 404 error... Thank you for being a kool dude and trying, though. |

Thank you sir! Looking forward to trying it when I get home. I have my server hosted through gameservers.com and they told me I couldn't setup server mod tools like B3 because it relies on an external process. I see that the OtaC server is also hosted by them, do you know of an alternative automated server mod tool that gameservers will allow? I read in post elsewhere that trying to setup Manu Admin Mod on gameservers.com through FTP doesn't work either, but I haven't confirmed this for myself.... Last edit by Pvt. For this Question other Members could give you an answer , maybe ask BitterSpock, he was Building our Admin Bot for our OTaC Server, but i dont know if there is other Tools for it, i think when you build and first rent a Didicated Server, then you can put your own configs and Mods on it, but they are really expensiv. |

I would start by reading the B3 documentation and going from there. https://bigbrotherbot-user-documentation .readthedocs.io/en/latest/getting-starte d/index.html Depending on how reliable your internet connection and electricity is at your house, you could either run B3 on an always on PC at your home or rent a cheap VPS from one of the typical providers and point the xml config to the gameservers log file https://bigbrotherbot-user-documentation .readthedocs.io/en/latest/faq.html#does- b3-have-to-be-installed-on-the-game-serv er-for-quake-based-games |

I had thought about using a VPS, but I know absolutely nothing about them - not even what VPS stands for( I assume it's Virtual Protocol Server maybe? ). I didn't know what type of programs or files they would allow one to upload and or even how to use one.... I couldn't even get CoD Rcon 11.2 to link to my own server's FTP to have access the the ban.txt file, lol. I guess that is my only choice - I just have to find a VPS provider with a cheap offer, I reckon, and do some research. Thank you for the input guys. |
