Thanks again for the new COD4 Server. A dozen or so of us enjoy playing on it.

Several of us in game, like Ghost, MIke, etc.. enjoy the game but have come to find this player Covert Ops who is now Sandman Cometh comes in and uses a "Wall Hack" on us.. I've observed it, it's easy to catch on only a few minutes of any Kill he has. I called him out on it when he was using Covert Ops, He then changed it to Sandman Cometh as of yesterday .. both Mike (SNR) player and I were in TS and chatted on the agreement.
I've also spoke with Voodoo on this matter. So here is the post ..

Hopefully you can get his GUID and stop him from interrupting our game time in the afternoons.

Thank you for the report , we will check it out , i had not much time at least and wasn't playing that much , but we will get rid with the problem.

Did we capture any video of him using this exploit? We need to record any shenanigans like this so we're providing proof for a ban. Lets keep the same standards as the World at War server so when you see crap like this just open console and enter /record. Label the video as COD4 and include the name and offense and add it to the TS file (should look like: COD4 Sandman Cometh, wallhack).

Hi all,

Voodoo, I tried (unsuccessfully, as did not recall the proper command for it) to record him but I watched him for a while, and the evidence was just before anybody's eyes : he was obviously using a wallhack or any other tool. He was always pointing his gun in the very direction which other players were coming from even if they were not visible or making noise. He could detect any claymore and I spectated him killing two successive player with a nade as they were coming by the floor just below him; no way he could have seen or heard them. And other players saw the same thing. So I banned him. Was I wrong ?

Is the recon plane enabled? The Mini map should be disabled too .

Hey Tatane, no problem my friend. If it's that obvious then he got what he deserved. In future lets aim at getting the demo record first and then we'll deal with the asshats.

Nair, those should be turned off. If the hardpoints (recon plane, heli and bombs) are coming back on it may be an issue with the mod ruleset panel. Rampant has been working with it but I haven't talked with him in a couple of days.

I mean, if that is on, it's hard to say the player was hacking, if the Mini map and recon plane is enabled, thats i want mention about it, without any Demo

Settings on all rulesets:

setDvar( "scr_game_allowkillcam", "0" ); (doenst rule out that you point out the way where you was killed from)

setDvar( "scr_map_special_fx_enable", "1" ); (smoke is ON on all maps)
setDvar( "scr_show_fog", "1" ); (fog of war enabled on maps that have it)

These rulesets are loaded every time a map starts
