Hi guys and gals. So what does everyone think of having our Fridays server offering as a "friendly fire" day? Damage resulting from a friendly fire incident can be reflective or can be dialed down. |

I'd love seeing that! If I had to choose btw reflective or real team damage, I'd be up with the 2nd one. (To make it more realistic) |

Sounds good! I think it should rather be a setting that an admin can make mid game |

Great idea, I think reflective damage is best. It takes the damage that would be done to your teammate and the anger of being shot by a teammate back at the player who misfired. This is the best way of bringing friendly fire consequences, I think that proper friendly fire will be abused. ------------------ |

Theres a penalty for friendly fire, I think after 3 team kills, you get autokill and 10 secs of waiting for spawn. |

But I'd still hate to die being shot by a teammate. 2023-09-16 at 3:07 PM - La_Tatane_BR: Hi all, just back from 2 dream weeks in Corsica, a great place on earth to be... totally agree with this idea of FF day ! Now we just gotta get down which kind of friendly fire it would be. Reflective is my personal choice. Maybe there could be both that you can choose with the command ff <reflect(ive)> on if you choose to skip the argument in the angle brackets it will be the normal friendly fire which kills the teammate you shot at. (Not sure if there are any more settings for friendly fire, but that's what the command argument could be for to set the desired one. ------------------ |

In all Hardcore Multiplayer game modes, there are four separate ways to treat friendly fire: have it enabled so players can hit teammates, reflect/ricochet prevents players from damaging players, but will return damage dealt to friendly players to the shooter, have it disabled so it's impossible to shoot a player's teammate, and shared, which allows the player to kill friendly players, but the game will inflict damage to the shooter based on the damage dealt. |

the old Bk servers had friendly fire enabled. Two team kills in a row and you got the boot. Wasnt as big an issue as anyone might think it could be. Helped with the flow of things |

Hans, I'm not sure that all of the tools in RCON work. Also, with the BOT running RCON does cause issues. Hey Tip, BK had it down on that aspect. It worked very well and it doesn't take long to sort out those who decide to team kill. |

I am ok with FF Fridays. Don't think it matters much whether it is reflective or accumulatively punitive. |

Friendly Fire would be great but I think if we use Reflective Fire the first few times for people to get used to having Friendly Fire on would be best. Just my opinion. ------------------ May Your Aim Be True And Your Bullets Deadly |
