good evening everyone, I would like to know if it was possible to put a tag for all the players who administer the game without being part of the OTaC clan and for the administrator list to be updated, that would be very nice. Member updates would also be welcome. I would also like to know when was the last OTaC meeting on TS so that we could form a more cohesive group. |

Are you talking about sponsors or guest admins when you say put a tag? I think meetings were done in the past, based on what I've read of the forums, but people weren't showing up or not committing. Maybe a system that everyone puts what time would suit them best, and pick the best available slot. Then getting a yes/no commitment from them. Maybe even a dual voice/text chat for those who are not available to talk but can still pitch into the meeting. ------------------ |

I'm talking about all players who are not part of the Otac clan. At the same time, the sponsorship should only last for a certain time. administrators who come into the game are also asked to come to ts in order to be able to better manage the players. the administrators who come into play are also asked to do their job and enforce the rules. I see a lot of administrators who carry the tag and who do not participate in the proper functioning of the server |

I will gladly put some kind of admin tag on if you guys want me to. I've been on the border of signing up to be a member - but after 20 years of being in a couple of clans and ascending to leadership roles - I got really tired of all the politics and, eventually, the responsibilities. I'm in a director level position with my employment and spend all day dealing with people's issues - and the game breaks are supposed to be fun diversions. I am happy to help out as a non-member admin because I have a lot of experience being one and want to help out. However - I just see my guest admin access as an assistant subservient to clan admins. Many times I am on when there are no Otac to deal with the rule breakers....so I enforce. When Otac is on - I help and back up. TS is mostly a no-go for me since I am actually playing in my office (sometimes during actual conference calls!). Mind you - I only have bitterbot admin abilities - no RCON or anything... so still just an assistant...not a full admin! Let me know what you want me to put in the clan tag marker... |

Helen I know you now for years in game and happy you carry on as usual. You never interfered when an admin was on. All I can say do whatever suits you and makes you happy, its a game after all. |

Helen, I know exactly where you are coming from. I am 81 years old and retired now, but the last several years of my career were spent in middle management, and most of my time was consumed dealing with people issues (particularly with those people who thought they were special). That made playing COD 1, 2, and so on (as they came along) a way for me to release frustration and then to enjoy. I have also been in a number of Clans over time, only for them to fracture because of internal friction and eventually disappear, so I resisted joining OTAC for a long time. That being said, I can understand your reluctance to become an Admin. Therefore why not apply to become a member only. Then play as a member with (OTmC tag), this way you essentially have all the powers of a sponsored admin, without having to be sponsorerd, and can still do exactly what you do now. |

Helen, there is no pressure from me for you to put tags on. You are an upstanding regular and are as much a part of OTaC as any member/admin. If you would like to put tags on, nothing really changes for you unless you want it to, you can admin when you want. There are no real politics, I rely on boots on the ground and there are server rules, but at the end of the day there is only one rule. No drama. You see pretty drama-free. There is not pressure to wear admin tags. There is no pressure to admin if you do. It is not a job, it is voluntary gift of your time in any amount you want. |
