Real name: Mathew Location: Minneapolis, MN Languages: English In-game name: o65cura (previously aleph_0) About myself: College student studying math. Outside of school, my interests are mostly musical: I like avant-garde jazz, modern classical, and some of the more experimental varieties of extreme (black, death) metal. Hours played per week: Anywhere between 0 and 15 is typical. I will often take a break from the game to focus on other things in my life, but I'll always come back eventually. Hiya, Mathew. I definitely know the name Aleph as I've seen it in-game but never as one that gets into trouble which is great. Haven't seen the new name pop up or just not noticed it yet. It's great you want to join us, With some forum presence alongside helping out occasionally in-game that would help too. aleph_0 is a long-time player and I think would do well becoming OTmC ------------------

Aleph while I have endorsed you to become a member of our clan, (and I am aware that Jman invited you to join) I do have some concerns. Do you remember the day before yesterday (when you were playing under the alias o65cura) I asked you, in global text, if you were using an aimbot (I accept your ‘No’ reply). The reason I did so was because, to my tired old eyes, you appeared to be making quite a few questionable/impossible shots and you very quickly racked up 18 or so kills for 2 or 3 deaths. In fact I have noticed that whenever you play, regardless of what name you are using, you pretty well dominate the server. Now we have spoken in TS and you come over as a likeable young fellow, which is why I would like to give you some friendly advice. I hope that you will take it on board, but you can choose to ignore it if you wish. Most players come to our server to play and enjoy themselves, not necessarily to be the top scorer every map, but it takes the enjoyment out of the game for many players, when they are constantly being owned/dominated (especially if it is by one particular person) and, if that continues, they may leave the server. That being said, and since you appear to be such a good player, I suggest that you handicap yourself in some way, perhaps by only using a bolt action rifle as a suggestion, or, since you don’t need to impress anyone, simply easing up on the number of kills you make, like H8W8IN and some of the other good players do. To support what I am saying I recommend that you go into the forums and read everything you can find relating to a player named Rustyer, particularly his posts in the ‘Ban Appeal’ thread, appealing his bans and the responses to his posts. |

Aleph-O has played alot on our server. Often times he kicks my but. I have often wondered about his game play, but after having played with him over the past couple of years I recognize that he is a very good player. One evening while playing and Humber was in TS as well I told 0 to consider becoming a member. I said you play here enough and you would be a good player for the clan. He's always been respectful to me even when I bust his chops about killing me. To my surprise I learned he did just that he applied to become a member. I believe he understands the importance of not being a server killer and would carefully watch his game play for the betterment of the clan. Just as Hate does. I endorse him to be a member.
