Hello everyone! I've seen mostly that the most powerful weapon in the game it seems to be the bolt weapons and the STG44. I have mentioned in the server to maybe limit the STG but it would chase some players away from the server (aid from H8). In my opinion it's sometimes overpowered in some maps by certain players because it's almost the perfect weapon to push the spawns. Moderate accuracy, power and handling, and with low amount of people in the server it can chase people away because of spawnkills or the mass amount of kills racking up. I'd like to hear your opinion or advice on this subject, whether it's from the public players from our server(s), staff or members. ps. I'm not planning to ban this weapon just because it may be overpowered. I personally don't use it because I don't like it; too powerful in my mind. ------------------

What pushes players away is the really good players and the crazy spawns. |

STG is often cited as the biggest reason players use juggernaut. Those same players generally use some type of machine gun and lay down in corners. The gun (STG) does affect other players play styles at times but as far as being overpowered, we play on a hardcore server. Any gun we are allowed to use can get a kill in 1 to 4 hitmarkers. Depending on rate of fire and aim, thats usually less than a second in ttk (time to kill). Depending on perks and cover its still less than 2 seconds. The only thing I have a problem with in this game personally, is juggernaut. Too many times that perk tanks a whole clip from a gewehr or similar rifle. It doesnt make any sense to allow a perk that negates the point of having a hardcore server. I think we should police it the same way we do pistols outdoors. As i understand it we cant just set it up for auto kick due to coding in the game. We would have to mod the server and become unranked which we dont want at all. All in all I dont think personally we need to anything about the gun or the perk. As much as I cant stand jugger, some players enjoy using it so thats good enough for me. I'll still bust their balls about it though. |

I don't believe you should worry too much about the STG. The BAR is more powerful and just as accurate. There are some players who only ever lay on the ground and blaze away with a HMG, others who camp their butts off and yet others who frequently push. People will come and go. Don't sweat it. |

In a hardcore server I think it's not noted very well what guns are overpowered (ie, use Stopping power and anygun will become 1 shot 1 kill). With the years I've seen that what keeps the server alive is to allow all different game styles. People happy = populated server. As been said before Out-tact is 1 of the oldest clans and still active with rules that have been there for as long as..... More restriction to a slowly dying game will only speed that up. |

If you think a gun/perk is overpowered, then use it yourself and see if you can dominate. If you can't then it's not overpowered. |

Everyone has same access to the same weapons. Everyone does not have the same rig, ping, skills. You can buy a new rig and move to a better ping or maybe you can't. But it comes down to skills. Never gonna be even. Nor should it be. STG is not a problem. Use it, others do. |
