Time/Date of the ban: banned 1/18/2025 around 16:00 PST Reason for ban: banned for accusation of "wallhacks" Admin who banned you: Torgue Home country: United States Why you believe you should be unbanned: I know exactly why Torgue banned me. I was having a great game on hanger and wall banged the tin window from the side and got a lucky kill. It is a very common spot for people to camp so I shoot up there all the time when I'm going by. I use a kar98k and go for wall bangs every game. I rarely hit them, but when I do I can see why people would be upset because they are getting shot through a wall. I'm a very skilled sniper having countless hours played on battlefield before coming over to WaW. The more I played this server the better I got. I was consistently going 15+ kills positive. I had over 120 hours played so you would think I would be banned for "hacking" before that. I'm guessing these guys just had enough of me. I can see how it could be frustrating to get killed by me because I hit some nasty shots. The ban kinda left a sour taste in my mouth so I'm not even sure I want to come back. You were banned because of several very suspicious looking shots. I was in spectate and recording a demo. My personal feelings towards you, of which there are none, have nothing to do with the ban you received. 120 hours played here also have nothing to do with the decision. We have had long time players here with well over 1000 hours get banned. We have had admins get banned after YEARS of playing here. I was in spectate watching you because as is the case nearly every day that you're on, someone is messaging me, asking me to take a look at your gameplay. Part of my job as admin is to make sure this server runs smoothly. If its suspected enough that someone has some kind of unfair advantage ( aimbot, wallhack, lag switch etc) We WILL be watching you. Not just me, ANY Admin or sponsored admin WILL have their eyes on you. The kill that ended the recording for me, was not the smoking gun, there were 8 other kills I made note of. That head shot wall bang in the hangar window was just where I chose to end the recording. Be mindful of that fact from now on. 1 good shot doesnt mean a thing. Its all the other "good" shots that gets you there. I had your ban lifted this morning, and its specifically because I think you're another one who cant help themselves. You will get correctly banned again. This lift coupled with the fact that you are now squarely on the admin radar because of a terrible attitude in your ban appeal means all eyes are going to be on you. Im giving you the rope man. You can prove me wrong, and pull yourself up OR you can prove me right and hang yourself with it. Your best course of action is to just say thanks, and carry on as if nothing happened. We will ALL see you in game. |

Matt, so that you know, our leadership team evaluates the admin that we have to ensure fairness and impartiality. Any admin caught being blatantly unfair or not adhering to their admin agreement (and this agreement is very comprehensive) will be dealt with post haste. In turn, our guests are expected to follow the community guidelines while playing on our server. Failure to do so could result in that player being removed or banned. Every ban is reviewed for accuracy. |
