I am reporting BitterSpock and appealing a ban that he just issued to me today after he was online for merely 10 seconds. I have already spoken to Honda and assures him I never have and never will use a WH ingame as I do not need to. I understand that BitterSpock has had a bias against me ever since I reported a player and has shown even mild disdain towards me when I report players unless the evidence is for the obvious stuff like an Aimbot. I would like to see BitterSpock's so called evidence on a wallhack on this as I have been playing on this server for quite a bit now. For further evidence, I have obtained permission from Honda him self saying that I can use WH while viewing demos, but not on the server. I have abided by that rule from day 1. I admit I may break the odd rule such as the camping one but it's hard to keep track of a 3 minute time limit when you are in combat. ---------------------------------------- ------------- From honda Date 2016-09-13 at 10:26 PM ---------------------------------------- -------------- I won't ban you as long as you don't use the wall hack in my server but if you use it to spot hacker then I don't mind, even spot on my own members, any one appears to be hacker to you go ahead and record them with your wall hack Thanks ---------------------------------------- --------------- Timed and Stamped, I have recieved permission from him to use it for the purpose of evidence. That is the only occasion I ever use a WH. If anything, I question BitterSpock and his cheat-detecting abilities. As twice now I have given him conclusive evidence towards something and I was shown an extreme bias. Who knows, maybe he is good friends with that Apu fellow and feels offended that I call somebody out for cheating. |

Well spock? I saw you come online after this was posted. I want to see your evidence. Do I apparently break some kinds of rules? Sure, I can't help fitting these categories. 5. Constantly using only one gun (for example ppsh STG44 , M1A1 , BAR) and doing 35 plus kills, dominating all other players *The Browning LMG is practically my wife* 7. Hardcore sniping or camping. This refers to a player who constantly gets in one spot where the player can spawn kill or make a lot of kills. If the player is an average player, no one cares. If good, the player will be noticed, upset and drive others away. Such player will be banned for this behavior. *Again I admit to this one* I lose track of how many people I can kill from a good location particularly wallbanging. Been playing this game since it's release and know every single camping spot and have to spectate players for 4+ hours a day so I know pretty much all the camping spots and all the major traffic routes for players, resulting in lots of kills. 8. If you advance too much with your favorite weapons , slow down with a different one so that you won't scare off other players. I personally dislike any one who uses one gun and only one such as BAR, STG44 , Japanese MG or whatever he or she is best at to get to his or her highest kills. I ban players like that. *again, I admit to this as previously mentioned, the Browning LMG is pretty much my wife. This gun is the one I refer to if I start getting killed too many times for my liking.* **Sometimes I'll switch to the MG-42 on more close quarter maps where a higher rate of fire is prefered** 3. Here's some more proof that I am simply good at the game. You say to get 3 recordings on different maps of gameplay to appeal them to show I don't cheat? Here's one. Whistleblower, Bitterspock was not the only admin to refute your evidence of previous hackers. You can count me in on that number as well. Making comments to impune BitterSpock will not find much traction here. Your interaction is not the first we have had regarding bans. We are very comfortable with BitterSpock's judgement, as well as his ability to objectively evaluate his own actions, post execution. Sorry for being impatient on the matter, I just don't like being accused of cheating when im simply good at the game. I do see the server does have rules against the too good part though, but I do want to see Spock's evidence so that I can make a counterpoint. |

my ingame name was InigoMontoya. I do not like cheaters and know how to spot and detect them. I even have Honda's approval to use my methods to catch them and report them. I know how to spot cheaters as I have played this game for a very long time. I don't understand why people take offense to me ousting people who cheat anyways. |

Pace has nothing to do with the topic at hand. And testimonial videos are also not relevant to the topic at hand, as this is a specific documented instance. In any event, Inigo I have documented your ban and it will be reviewed by the the other senior admin with expertise in wallhack identification i.e. Mackey, Honda. And once we reach a final decision we will post it here. I have specifically NOT added commentary so they may review the video in an unbiased fashion and form their own opinions. We appreciate your patience during this process. Even I must take time to re-review the footage with scrutiny to ensure that what is inferred in the moment is later inferred under close scrutiny. Should we later find that I have made an error I will be the first to apologize to you for a wrongful ban. But again please be patient while we review the footage carefully. I believe as the person being accused of a WH, I should be allowed to atleast see the supposed evidence demo, I assume it is a demo correct? If you do not want it public, I would request that it be PMed to me. As a secondary note, I would also appreciate if my demos are viewed to show that I do not cheat since it is a requirement in the thread above. I can understand anger due to my habits of playing on the server. Not taking it easy on them drives players away specially if im getting too many kills with a particular gun, mainly my Browning due to it's extremely high penetration power for wall spamming. |

We will be happy to make the demo's available to you AFTER our staff has reviewed them and we have discussed it internally. Also, I am not sure what you mean, I have looked at your stats on our server, and your scores are not off the charts, sort of low-to-average with a couple places with an okay score, but a few matches with high K-D. But again that is irrelevant to the topic at hand. |

Inigo, As promised: http://www.bitterspock.com/otac/demos/in igo.dm_6 We have spent time reviewing the video more closely, and have determined that the video footage does not meet our criteria for upholding the ban. As such we are reversing the ruling on the field. Your ban will be lifted immediately and you are again free to enjoy our servers. I apologize to you for the ban, we try hard to get these instances right. But that is why we have the appeals and review process and the requirement of videos so we can at least get it right later. All is forgiven, I got frustrated my self and apologise for my actions. As an admin my self I understand where you are coming from in this scenario I retract my words and hope we can all just move on from this ordeal, shoot some noobs and have a beer at some point. See you on the battlefield. |
