Hello OTac, I play on the crouch server quite often and really enjoy it. About two weeks ago (before I went on vacation), I played Cliffside using the DP-28 and accidentally went over 35 kills and recieved a temp ban. Just today (just got back from vacation) I tried to play and was notified that I have been perm banned for wall hacking?. I play on this server quite often (the only FPS game server I enjoy) and tend to do pretty well (25-30+ kills). I do not hack and never hack in any game. My brother, SMTHUDSON, spoke with Bitterspock today and Bitterspock reviewed my profile and commented that he didn't see any video evidence of me hacking. Please can you look into this, I would love to get back on and have some fun! Thanks, PREGNANTCOW |

What I said to smith hudson was that: 1. The server owner HondaSlzman personally placed the ban on pregnantcow himself. The reason stated in the ban file was "wall hack" 2. I said since Honda banned him I do not have any video to review. 3. I looked at the score data (not video) and I saw no conclusive reason for a ban, so the determination came from whatever Honda saw. Hi pregnant cow. Based on Honda's last comment, what he requires is that we do the following. It should be no big deal. 1. I am going to TEMPORARILY unban you. 2. Come on our server and in the console start a demo recording of yourself..... /record for_otac 3. Play at least 3 consecutive games, and try your best, we want to see you scoring high in some of them. In general whatever games you play record yourself. 4. Type /stoprecord to end recording. 5. Come to our teamspeak and upload the demos so we can review them or make them available via filedropper.com or similar. Then we will review your gameplay. And decide if your good scores are from a hack or your bad scores are because no hack or if everything is okay (our hope) And either leave you unbanned or reinstate the ban Please respond in this thread if this process is agreeable. I was thinking the same thing..... Hello Knocked-Up-Bovine, So your video was very helpful and thank you for that. Good news is the server owner Honda (and me) have reviewed the demo and have concluded that you are merely a very strong player, and that we will NOT be re-instating the ban. You are free to play. However, we feel you are such a strong player that we need you to help us out by keeping your score down when you play here. As such I am adding you to a restricted group as a sort of golf handicap with the following limits: On maps with "normal rules" where everyone else is supposed to switch to bolt/shotgun at 30+ (enforcement above 35), you must switch before you get above 20+. On other rulesets (shotgun, knife,sniper, etc) you will use the weapons the ruleset calls for. Additionally on ALL maps you must keep your KILLS-DEATHS (K-D) to not exceed 20 kills. So 35 kills and 15 deaths you are safe, 36 kills and 15 deaths you are kicked. The kills you get are joy the game brings to you. The deaths you get are the joy that you bring to others. Challenge yourself, push more, die more, use tougher weapons. We don't want you to hit the limit and stop playing, we want you to get killed so others have fun too. You are not alone in this group. We have about 25 or so dominant players and even OTaC members that have restrictions, like Logicoe, Valvenut, Noobville, etc .... The restriction is tailored to the player, and we do adjust it if it is too restrictive or not enough, or maybe only certain weapons like only certain weapons are taken away. It is a mix. In any case you are in the 20/20 group (switch after 20, 20 K-D). WE will revisit your data after a a little bit to see how it fits and make any adjustments. You are free to enjoy the server.
