Hai, 'tis Noobville. Was trying to get thru high hangar entrance and had crouchserver say something unintelligeable starting with 'noob don't'. I think i blocked his entry when i fell back due to heavy fire. I asked crouchserver politely to say again, he decided to let me stew. Went quiet, and i'm wondering if i have a kick coming. I typed 'said this before, but my hearing is blurry - if i'm breaking a rule or blocking a player please type it' 'frustrating to hear mumbled requests i can't decipher'. Mumbled was not meant as an insult, it's just how pretty much everything sounds to me. And coming from an admin, it could have been an order instead of a request. At that moment Deebow typed !troll noob 5, which instantly kicked me because i'd typed 15 things in total that map. Not trolly things either. Not sure what Deebow's issue is but i don't like wearing it. If i'm that irritating give me Megajerk's threatened 'week off' but it would make more sense if i was actually breaking rules or trolling. Every day there are abusive / argumentative players who don't get !trolled, haven't seen a !troll designation for about a week. Anyway, ban stick or un-troll please. I don't deal well with unjustified rage. Into patience and fairness and stuff like that - where merited. Peace. |

hello... reading now I will look into it now. It seems Crouch asked you not to block him and you responded with continuous typing that seemed to be excessive. You can speak to me in TS if you wish. Thanks Mackey. No TS for me, i'll drop in next time. I'd guessed it was something about blocking but couldn't hear clearly, hence asking for it in written form. Ignoring a request or possible order from an admin is an even faster way to get kicked. Hearing impairment is frustrating. Unsure why crouch didn't reply verbally or in text. Options seemed to be ignore admin (bad), ask for a repeat (bad if i incorrectly assume admin was alt-tabbed or not looking or is purposefully ignoring me), or leave server (!troll, !kick or ragequit, high maintenance, bad). A and / or B equal C. Can't see a logical way to avoid C if admin MUST use mic and then ignore my request for clarification. Except A which equals C if the bla was an order and / or required a response. Aaaah! *head explodes* Anyway sorry crouch, deebow. I'm hard of hearing. Plenty of volume, no clarity. Eh? EH?? And happy overreaction day everyone! Late edit - really did think i waited a polite, non-pushy interval between requests to 'say again please'. Just watched demo again - i typed right after crouch spoke, once 30-ish seconds later, waited another 3-ish minutes to ask again. Waited that long specifically to avoid any perception of 'continuous' typing. Time sure is relative, hey ^^ Always recording, so anyone can ask for demo of any map (or just check timestamps in server's chatlog for this one). No !troll designation please, bulk of my typing in-game is ns! and nn and SPAWNKILL THEMMM xD. Don't want 'TROLL' next to 'Noobville' cause i'm not. Hurts my eyes good sirs. Hey guys, I would suggest letting this one go without further actions on anyone's part. Let's not assign any fault here, but chalk it up to miscommunication. Noob, when you returned the next map, I set your troll to 30 as it was the only way I knew how to lift it at least to 30 texts. I think think there is a command to remove it permanently and I would ask that Bitter or another admin that know's the command to do so. I am uncertain if you need to be present for that to happen. I should be on later today and if I can find the command myself, will do so. If another admin reads this and can lift it, please do so and report actions here. |

Also, the player must be in game for the !untroll command. |

Thanks OTaCs, sorry for kerfuffle. Will try harder not to hog server's chat space (which i have done sometimes), i shouldn't even need 30x bla per map, ever. |
