Recorded this one on the Battery Map. Noobville was doing a number on Stompy and Crouch. Possibly using a compass hack due to the demonstrated ability to know where opponents are by shooting in the direction of the target before making visual contact. Legitimately good players with restrictions are becoming increasingly frustrated by unrestricted hacker suspects likely doing damage to the server population. There seems to be enough evidence on this player to support a more detailed data review. The video for this event is located on the TeamSpeak Server in the Admin Stuff folder. Geezer. |

<-- Noobville. I've dropped longer demo in TS lobby, name is NoobDec12_5.dm_6. Always recording every map with date in name, always saying ask for any demo, nobody does. If you watch it, turn 'voice' to max in sound options and 'sfx' down to about 2 thirds so you can hear enemy's trash talk. Told a kickass regular about that a few months ago and he was like WHAT, I DIDN'T KNOW!. Also, read my post in HOW DO YOU PLAY THIS STUPID GAME page 2. There's no magic, it's all details. Can't be fake AND know your ****. Hooray for high-end autism / aspergers or whatever. Not teabagging anyone with my ego, i have an anti-ego and no need for fake advantage. Note i've kept a lot of distance from the OTaC TS and forum bubble to avoid personality clashes. Had too many of those in earlier cods. My clan was top 3 consistently and we did a hell of a lot of scrims / wars / ranked matches / tournaments. We were family and real friends and used / tolerated NO cheaty things, unlike most of the other top clans (especially the ones we never beat). We kicked as much ass as possible without trading our principles for stolen kudos. Other clans got busted at tournaments with aim assist patched into their mice ^^ I really ought to be a lot better than i am (unrealistic i know) but i've always been inconsistent. Suggestions.. perhaps spock / honda can ban me from whatever timezone y'all want to yourselves? Might have to send crouch / valve and some others packing while you're at it. Or perhaps server #2 can be repurposed for those who can take a hit and still enjoy the game. Probably a bad idea to reply at all. I'm not fake - but it always comes down to character calls, not details or facts. Humans are great at that! Mad respect. Peace. Spocksir, please delete / move this post if it's unhelpful. I still don't get why so many ppl is mad about noobville. Even if he does great scores sometimes, he's not unpopulating the server (all the times I see him playing, server population is normal) since a lot of time ago. He's restricted and has good skills, but also skills that are reachable for all of us (everyone can get used to know the spawn points, everyone can hear the soldiers screaming, everyone can turn off depth of field, everyone can blind fire walls with or without success, etc). Just like bitter, I'm pretty sure if I check the demo, I wont find nothing more than a regular gameplay. He's not a hacker. |

Well I looked in the AdminStuff area ... I did not see a demo *.dm_6 what I saw was a really sort *.mp4 that basically had crouchserver cursing at Noobville and something about him sitting on Honda's lap. If there is a *.dm_6 then please provide its exact name and folder location. If you want me to ban Noobville despite having absolutely no evidence, I will first ban Nair and crouchserver since it would be unfair to have a double standard. Let me say a few things. I deal in facts and data, not emotion and knee-jerk reaction to personal frustration. I defend Noob because he so far has not had one shred of evidence against him that is bannable. So many videos, and never a smoking gun and most times they prove he is NOT hacking. And over the years has proven himself to be a helpful player and has done everything asked of him to control his score and a helpful asset in bringing real hackers to the light. But there is this lynch mob that carries and perpetuates an ill-formed grudge against Noobville and despite his scores being far lower than most of our better clan members, this angry mob just can't get past it and that is on them. And so again I will kiss both sides of Noobville's cheek for a job well done, and the lynch mob can kiss both sides of my ***, as they have been a pain in it for sure - LOL I am open to the possibility that anyone including Noobville may be hacking. But you need a smoking-gun demo and you don't have one. Each submitted ban video has the potential to demonstrate only one of two things. A. A player is hacking beyond all doubt B. The person submitting the video does not not have the skills to conclusively and accurately determine what hacking looks like So I am keep a list of B names so I know whose judgement I do not value in this area of expertise. Too much going on. Can't deal with this, it's high maintenance. Here's a thought experiment - there are craploads of cheats all over the internet. You don't use them.. why? Same reason i don't. Noob, you will make the decision you feel is best for you. I have expressed to you that you will not be banned without proof. Without infraction there will be no proof. I have enjoyed playing with you at OTaC, trouble-free. I expect I will continue to do so, if you so choose. You have no need to deal with anything. I have your back as I have the back of anyone who chooses to enjoy our server. Honda made me co-founder of OTaC because he trusted the decisions I made. He will remove me when he no longer does. Until then nobody will bother you with any further accusations, they will come to Bitter or I. You decide if you think we are fair. Florian, Bushido, keeping this server alive has been a string of efforts nearly 8 years long. None of us can claim sole ownership for OTaC's success. We appreciate the effort you two gave. I deleted most noob demo it was unviewable, guys you need to record ingame demo, not mp4 crap, has to be cod waw format type /record noob in console ------------------

Someone once said that if you smoke a cigarette it takes a minute off your life. I feel like every time someone make a noobville video I lose time off my life having to review and respond to them.
