Can we have a CTF map that does not involve Shotguns please pretty please ? OR WAR / HQ something else apart from the HumDrum of TDM or Sniper TDM... CTF / WAR / HQ will require a little bit more team work and yes it can work with your current crouch rules, mostly it would break the usual TDM / Shotty / Sniper rinse repeat cycle.... and (OMG) give us some actual objectives rather than ppl just polishing their KdR medals all the time and focus a little more on team work. I like a TDM match as well, all I am saying is throw a CTF map or WAR / HQ in there every so often... must say it would also be good to slow down the re-spawns for that map by a few more seconds to allow for more team play. Hi HiggsB, you can request in game the change for a maps like above. If an admin is on, sure he will change it for once. I would of course ask the players if they like it and request it as next map. So yes the option is there for you. |

Join the clan, become admin, set the CTF map you want ...... :-) |

Thank you HANS will try that however I don't think it will be taken seriously whilst there is shooting yelling and GG's being thrown around .. worth a shot all the same.I fear that eventually things will just be same same so... thank you for the reply at least. Mr Spock... thank you sir that would be nice. but my flex capacitor would not likely run for that long an algorithm in order to achieve the desired outcome may well extend my life force beyond it's mere human capabilities... it is logical thank you all the same... and hope the light keeps burning strong... live long and prosper  HB |

Additional questions: I know there were other COD-5 Maps added so just wondering why these are never in the rotation ?? Why is there no anticheat on the server ? does it cost to have something like battle-eye monitor your server? OK I know that being such an old game there is little to likely no support for anticheat... just seems weird that any wan... I mean any of those that feel the stupid need of using hacks ( I am sure there are still some around for COD-5 ) can just use them as they please and not be detected unless they are really really stupid and set these to headshot only no recoil etc.. etc.. I will have a look and try to inform myself better as to any anticheat options for such an old game, it is a shame it is enjoyable to play still but with no way of checking how can you just be 100% sure?? anyway just thought I would ask Muchos Gracias HB |

We have stock cod5 maps available to us. Not all are in rotation as some are too big, too small, or just have a bad spawn trap dynamic. So we let admin put them on when they are there to watch things. Punkbuster stopped supporting COD WAW so we had to disable it. |

Awww... that's sad about anticheat :( :( how can you ever be sure that players are not running something weird ?? no one is to be taken seriously then as there have been a couple of suspects... however no way to prove it ... a nudge is as good as a wink to a blind bat!!!! Ok guess throwing the occasional different map on might be just down to the server admin discerning muse well we can hope.... Thank you for the reply BitterSpock ;-)HB |

Well, no one can be sure... but the large number of admins makes playing on outac server much moe comfortable, then playing on a different server. In case of different maps, you can always ask an admin to setup one or a different gamemode, or tanks, or dogs... but you may experience that for some reasons sometimes the say "no". In general i like different gamemodes (ctf an dom). And sometimes i do request something this style. Have fun and see you in game, Bert |

Nice one Bert.... yes there should definitely be moAr CTF or DOM in the rotation. I like having some objectives rather than always the same TDM (TeDiuM ) it makes the map / game so much more worth playing and completing these even if you get one flag back or save your flag from the enemy so much more fun than comparing KDR's as a sense of how well you did... much more a "team" effort I can only try and suggest but I would very much like it more if there was one map every 10 even which was CTF set up in the rotation. Also any other clans these days that you could set up one night a month for a clan Vs Clan or even put the feelers out there / advertise in server about a Challenge night where a team of Barbarians can come and play against all OUTTACT members ... for some fun and a challenge... have a few maps for that one night with CTF / DOM / WAR / S&D... that sort of thing. UCM - Unser Crouch Server I think there are a handful of players on there, at times close to your crouch server numbers but possibly on a smaller scale. I would have thought it "logical" that you occasionally search the server list in game... or not? perhaps it is by chance of time-zone that these show up empty so I can see that happening. FFT ?? |

Hi Bitter Not sure if this the right slot for this. I have played twice in last 3 days and each time the server has crashed, Always the same map: Revolution, war. Talking to other admins it would seem this is quite common, but it only happens on this map, This game type. Because of its history of crashing the map usually gets skipped I have no answer, only that its changed to something else, Same map but different style.
