Hello all, I get pretty bored with the scope only rule on Seelow... Actually, i'm not the only one as the map is often skipped by admins... I understand that its a very good idea to have a map where players can play with scoped rifles but i don't understand why ALL players should be forced to use a scoped rifle. Why not let everyone use any weapon he/she wants ? I think of 2 better options : - Scoped + bolt only rule - no weapon restriction at all Of course, camping would still be allowed. I actually like the idea of having one map where any weapon is allowed, including snipers, PTRS, Garand. The reality of the situation is that most people would pick a sniper rifle anyway, because an MP40 would be terrible on Seelow. But it gives the illusion of choice, if you will. Just my two cents. Take my opinion for what it's worth, coming from someone that doesn't like sniper scopes or camping, regardless of ruleset. |

Also, I think I could absolutely destroy on this map with the SVT and ACOG. |

My Dream is were you can use garand with SCOPES on a Garand scoped only map, or allow Garand scoped on a scope map |

I think I could allow ANY sniper rifle when we do snipers, like ptrs and garand. I could make ruleset: all_snipers |

I'm all for any sniper on Seelow as well, however, given the camping allowed rule perhaps we could also implement dogs as a regular feature? I think it would introduce a radical element to the map and force players to adapt on the fly and really scramble from time to time. I suppose we would have to be lenient towards pistol use as a counter measure though. Anyways, Seelow - all snipers allowed + dogs enabled. Thats my two cents |

I personally would like to see everything....all weapons, dogs, tanks, arty. It would be the only map with on server and make a pleasant surprise |
