Your In-Game Name: NorthSnipes Server you were banned from: 108.61.238.47:28960 (OuT*Tact Tac Crouch Ranked) Your GUID: e468a9ddbb656e47d1d0d5820537a63a (I think) Time/Date of the ban: 9/2/2022 (2pm PST) Reason for ban: I was banned for suspected wall-hacks Admin who banned you: Knollseisen Home country: United States Why you believe you should be unbanned: I've been a regular player now for quite a bit, and this is actually my 2nd time appealing a ban for wall-hacks. I do not cheat, and Knoll was saying I might have to screen-share while I play, which I have no issue with. I was having a solid game, got to 40-10 and knew I'd get kicked or a temp-ban for going more than +30, which I didn't do. Open to various things, honestly I've been thinking about trying to join as a mod here eventually even. |

I have reviewed the demo that was recorded prior to that ban being applied. I don't see anything remarkable about the gameplay other than you were having a good game. I looked at historical data and your performance is in par with past performance. Your ban is overturned. Please enjoy the server! Sometimes in the heat of gameplay, an admin can be convinced that a player may be hacking and act on it. This is why we have the protocol of recording the "smoking gun" demo and then applying the ban, so that we can better scrutinize what the player sees and hears and also what the player does not see or hear. I apologize for the inconvenience, but I know that I myself have recorded, banned and overturned my own bans the next day after watching my own demo back, so it happens..... We try to get it right in the end, and in this case we did. Thank you for your patience. See you on the server. Bitter |
