Good morning everyone ! First of all I apologize for my bad English, I have been playing on your server for a long time (I am 61 years old) and I think that I have rarely disregarded the rules and I was rightly kicked, a few minutes ago ARCADIEN BANNED me without any warning for spawn camping. I never play in camp mode, I don't like it and I always try to engage the enemy spawn (and the old and glorious tactical servers had crouch and spawn engage as the primary rule) so I found myself near his spawn area and I killed him once time, a few seconds later he escaped from the same area and I killed him again, the server did NOT give me any spawnkill warning and so I continued to advance killing 3 more enemies in different positions and then the BAN came. It's not the first time that ARCADIEN behaves in an overbearing manner with me and not only with me, I believe that a good admin (see ANGUS, BIRDIE, Bitterspock etc etc) should not take advantage of the fact that he has the power to kick or ban people but above all, as other admins do, EDUCATE in a firm and decisive but never overbearing manner. ARCADIEN always positions itself this way. I was Servers Admin for 11 years with the Italian NOCS TEAM (we had 1 COD2 server, 2 COD 4, 2 COD5 and one COD black ops and I personally wrote the mod that ran on our servers) and I removed several members who they took advantage of their ADMIN powers. I close by saying that I certainly didn't kill on spawn on purpose but I was engaging their spawn and didn't shoot from spawn to spawn, I certainly won't ask for my BAN to be lifted, it doesn't matter sorry but it doesn't matter but having such a rude admin and overbearing like ARCADIEN doesn't make you look good. I can't comment as to the offence as I wasn't watching. The time banned though, for this offence 40+ hours is very harsh and is not usually efficient as the player will just find something else to do. A 15m kick would leave someone stewing and thinking over what they did I believe much more effectively. ------------------

You see Birdie the problem is not the 15 minutes or the 40 hours but that the Admins can make mistakes like all of us and ARCADIEN, who is very proud and believes he is a very strong player, does not accept being killed in fact every time he dies complains either to his teammates who camp or to his opponents... he's too competitive... and he didn't ask himself the question: is SteveDM really understanding the spawn or am I the one who's in an area with a lot of teammates who camp and so I am reborn so that I can be easily killed by an enemy who is pushing the spawn.. But you can't argue with the Admins.. so you can only suffer injustices. |
