CoD-WaW Mexyxx did some hardcore camping on two different maps (the two i played, i got boored and left). Upheavel: 9 + 4 kills from second and first floor in a building (+ time, but i dont know exactly how long tho), and more then 5 min camping at another spot. Castle: 11 kills/6 min from one spot, 5 min camping on another spot. I told him several times about it, and I got 2 warnings from admin (Meagamoo i think) for whining, but Mexyxx got no attention from admin at any point. Seems a bit unfair to me. I try to tell when someone is not following the rules, both to let the player know about the rules and to give the admins the heads up that there is a player that is not following the rules, am i doing wrong? If so, please let me know and i will not tell another player again about the rules. Please advice, Pingo. ------------------ For you its, [Sir]-Pingo- ooyeah baby... Hey Pingo sorry to hear that, are you really sure it was Meagamoo who warned you? Because she isent no Admin only Member and to get warnings for Whining dosent looks good to me, you are welcome to tell other Players our rules and its good that you tell an Admin to take a look at the Rule breaking player, but this Admin shoudnt warn you for reporting a player they called Whining.We will clear that issiu, thanks for the report. regards Nair0lF Last edit by Nair0lF at 2015-03-21 at 7:39 PM (1x Edited) |

Nair0lF, Thank you for your answer. The warnings was not the consol warnings, it was just written in public chat. The second warning i was told "this is your second warning" (public chat), and i didnt wanted to take the risk to get kicked, so i did not say anything about it after that. Hello, Pingo I am of course of the same opinion as well as Florian. Of course you may give instructions, afterwards an Admin is there for it, if is present this thing to check so the infringement. Pingo, It is good to warn people, and let people know the rules, politely. It is NEVER good, to tell people stop WHINING. We value everyone's opinion, even if we disagree with the opinion. We must treat everyone with respect here. Pingo, unless you spectate a player for the entire time, you cannot be sure if they are really camping. There are many things that a player can do when you are not watching. A player can move away and return. A player can die and return. I have heard hundreds of complaints about camping. When I stop playing and watch, only 3-4 are really camping longer than 3 minutes or five kills. Try it some time. Use the console command to RECORD a player ( /record players_name then /stoprecord ) Thank you for writing to us. ------------------ Something Really Witty!!! i was watching the player in question for quite some time. he was not camping. pingo, however, did carry on for about three maps about camping, despite several warnings, until i kicked him. if pingo woud like to be an admin, i suggest that pingo applies to be a clan member and then applies to be an admin. again, i watched mexyxx for most of a map, castle, and, in my opinion, was not camping at all. thanks, darell |

I died a lot yesterday, and while dead i spectated Mexyxx. He did not move at those moments i have told you about, im 100% sure he was camping, also, his score told me he did not die in between. But maybe im not fully understand what camping is on your server. For me, camping is when someone is in a 10x10 meter area, or in a house with 2 floors. If he move between first and second floor does not matter, he is still in the same area. 3 kills to the left and 4 kills to the right is still camping in my eyes, he have not moved from that area. Maybe i got the camping rule wrong, please explain to me what you mean with the camping rule. @MrMackey, i will try to record next time. Thank you for the tip! @Deebow Thank you for joining the discussion. You said several warnings, did you use the voice chat in game? I got it muted, so that would explain it in that case. I played 2 maps, and after the second warning i did not said another word about it. I left by my own, but there is someone named Pignu playing on your server sometimes, maybe you kicked him after i left? I just told you to let it go, basically just let the admins deal with it. I didn't say stop whining. I was trying to save you from being kicked for just talking about someone camping. While he may have been in the same "area" his field of view had changed, it is not considered camping because he had technically moved. |
